Not only has he cut his strikeout rate by more than half, but he's no longer reliant on a high BABIP to fuel most of his line and he's hitting the ball harder as well. His improvement in just a month is already so impressive.

His May strikeout rate is less than half his April K-rate and he's almost doubled his ISO while maintaining a great walk rate. We are really blessed with rookies this year.

When Eloy comes back, I'm not going to worry about having too many good hitters, we'll be able to make it work.

They have played 7 games since Robert went down and scored 9 runs in 5 of them. This is crazy.

Watching Hamilton run the bases right there, it's a shame he has never been able to be remotely a good hitter. If he were he'd have been one of the most exciting players in the game.

When he was struggling recently Giolito was still getting strikeouts and swinging strikes but he’s not missing any bats right now.

This is just cherry picking. You can do this with pretty much any team and find similar results.

There are a lot of hitters who never adjust against the shift and none of them run .121 BABIPs, it's pretty silly to say he's not been unlucky.
