Predict the White Sox Record After 30 Games
Fangraphs has the Mariners at 65 wins even after starting 2-0 (Sox are at 71), just a couple wins ahead of Baltimore. Might seem a little pessimistic but they also play in a much tougher division than the White Sox.

Predict the White Sox Record After 30 Games
You're talking about 90 losses here but in your earlier post you said it was realistic to go 9-21 against a bunch of teams just as bad or worse than we are. If 9-21 against them is realistic then against the rest of the schedule you'd expect even worse than that. Which means you think it's realistic to expect this team to be worse than the 2003 Tigers.

FS: White Sox Interested in signing Cuban SS Yolbert Sanchez
I thought I read somewhere that one of the reasons the Orioles haven't done much internationally is because they have moral/ethical concerns about it and believe it to be largely exploitation, but I can't find anything about that now though so maybe I'm misremembering.

Predict the White Sox Record After 30 Games
LOL how is 9-21 realistic? That's 52 win pace against a super soft schedule. Unless you think this team is potentially the worst of all time that's not realistic.

03/26 vs. Arizona 2:40 PM
Did you write a program that adds in the same line to every single one of your posts?
- How many games will the White Sox win in 2019?

Eloy officially got paid
Wait you don't think Beltre is great either? He's a slam dunk HOF. Who do you think is great?
-
Eloy officially got paid
Wait you don't think Josh Donaldson is great? From 2013-2017 the only better player in all of baseball was Trout.

Eloy officially got paid
If Stanton is only a good power hitter then who are the great power hitters? He's also had more than one great year.
-
Eloy officially got paid
I mean if that's your argument how is handing out the 4th largest MLB contract in history not throwing around big money?

Eloy officially got paid
Greinke is another good example

Eloy officially got paid
You really think him signing with the Padres is a good argument for why he's not elite?

Chris Sale nearing extension with Boston
Even when healthy he always fades down the stretch, which is why I didn't want him to come back as I don't see that getting better into his 30s.

Chris Sale nearing extension with Boston
I didn't really want him back, but obviously still not good news if another major FA is off the market.
-
Eloy officially got paid
I don't really mind the Sox setting a precedent for paying younger guys more, which should be happening anyway.

Red Line Radio Hahn Interview
Same and it especially sucks because baseball is pretty much the only sport I really care about, I'm a casual fan of the other Chicago sports teams at best.

Eloy officially got paid
I just read that thread and damn you're right there were a lot of horrible takes there. I can't believe so many people are putting so much stock in 26 Spring Training plate appearances, such a stupid argument.

Personal opinions on Sox rebuild pieces.
Even including the other rounds he's still probably top 5 from that draft.

Round 4, pick 124

KW: "It's a shame" the Sox are being portrayed as cheap
Really feels like the only reason I’m still a Sox fan right now is because of Stockholm Syndrome.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
Machado supposedly didn't want to play on the West Coast until the Padres offer was clearly the best. I think it's the same for Harper and Philly. He just hasn't gotten the offer he wants yet, IMO it's that simple. He'll go to the top bidder unless the offers are very close.

Eloy opening day if he earns it
I feel they would almost certainly lose to a grievance claim if they did that, there's absolutely no way they could possibly justify keeping him down another season. Plus it's just a really scummy thing to do. Keeping him down this long already feels wrong. But this would be on another level. Are there any precedents of teams keeping guys down for two seasons after they're clearly ready?

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
I have a bad feeling that we'll end up throwing a lot of money at an already declining Bumgarner next year, I want no part of him.

Nolan Arenado to sign extension with the Rockies
It seems there's too strong a bias against Coors in HOF voting, just look at Larry Walker. His HOF chances were probably better if he went elsewhere and showed he could still hit. Really happy for the Rockies though, it's cool when stars stay.

2/25 CWS vs. SFG
What is he usually at? 89-90?
