Well we picked the right game for her first game. On our way to Chicago. Verlander vs Cease. Picked up 2 tickets right next to sox dugout, 8th row. Tickets were going on stubhub the last 2 days so should be great crowd. Some of you mentioned skylark which sounds good. How close is that to the stadium? Walking or uber? Taking red line in early. My better half and me are flying in on the 16th and heading home on the 19th with a plan to see the tuesday and thursday games while checking out Chicago on Wednesday. I really want to see Cease pitch and he is scheduled for Tuesday. Hopefully the weather holds out. Thanks for all the responses, we are going to stay in the Mag Mile. Now a question on some tickets. She wants to sit down below near the sox dugout, do you guys know if tickets prices on stubhub, etc. usually go down the day or two before the game or should I just buy them now? I think I paid about $100 for 2 tickets in the 5th row behind sox dugout when my son and I went in 2016. I expect they will be a lot more now. I wouldnt mind sitting in the outfield but its her first MLB game ever so I am giving her what she wants.

When my son told me he called Donaldson Jackie Robinson I said cool. Totally thought it was a compliment. But then again I dont immediately try to find how something is racist. When I played in a adult basketball league in Kinston, NC which is considered the top basketball city in the country with like 8 NBA players in its history I was the only white guy in the league. The PA announcer was calling me Bobby Hurley because he went to Duke and I was playing PG for our team. I didnt take it as a racist remark, took it as a compliment. I was a white guy who was playing pretty well. This country has a problem with race because we publicize stupid crap like this. Everyone is offended, Football and basketball players must be laughing because the trash talk that goes on in those games is 100x worse.

So I have made my girlfriend a huge Sox fan. She has never seen a MLB game in person so we are flying in from Raleigh, NC in June to spend a few days in Chicago and go to 2 games. Looking like 2 of the games against the Orioles. Which airport is best to fly into? Which area is best to stay in? Going to 2 sox games and will also have a free day to explore Chicago. Any recommendations on some food places we need to eat at would be appreciated?
