I remember him looking pretty decent before the injury. I felt good about the prospect of him being a nice #4 or 5 in the rotation.

Made it home in time to watch the surfing. My better half...."Honey, why do you want to watch surfing?" Flashback to 2 years ago...."Honey, are you watching curling again?"

2 very different sports became my obsession for a week or so the last 2 Olympics....In the Winter, I watched far too much curling and this time it was the surfing. The breaking of those huge waves accenting the different shades of blue was mesmerizing and the athletes were tremendous. Unfortunately I believe I am missing the semis and medal rounds "live" today but I will try to avoid the results and catch the replay when I get home.

Harper was the one to pursue....what changes if he was signed? They definitely targeted a right guy in Wheeler and made a good offer....what is it like if he did sign here, what else changes? They did play their asses off for the most part for Renteria...what if Ricky was not fired?

I am actually quite sad when I think back to a Saturday Night a few years ago when Luis made a tremendous diving catch late to save the game....I immediately called my brother on the phone who answered the call with "that is the greatest catch I've ever seen in my life." And Now......whatever this is.

I know that there is a shocking lack of talent on this ballclub but even with that, how many Wins do you estimate Pedro's in game decisions have cost this team this season?
