It seems like every time I see the bullpen blew the game recently, I pull up the boxscore and see Leone's name with numbers after it that make me do the Homer Simpson "DOHH!!"

Dave Roberts is gonna freak if this rule applies to the playoffs....I've never seen a guy make more pitching changes, except maybe Ricky in Oakland

I actually am not sure what is worse...this absolutely awful bullpen....or the inability of this offense to score against any other bullpen.

If you want to argue the right move, that was probably to get rid of Vaughn and put Burger at 1B. Burger would have played better defense at 1B than Vaughn and certainly would have hit for more power.

That's outstanding. Someone running with a rumor started at Soxtalk.....I love it. ?

Maybe Eder is the type of guy this franchise needs to take a chance on and Burger was what it took to get hkm....however at the time I was really pissed because they traded away a guy who was hitting for power and absolutely the only guy on the team that busted his ass hustling every night. It still feels like a big F U to the fans as Hahn/Kenny were headed out the door.

That Fedde trade sure is looking Iike a joke, especially when it was considered a sellers market. I basically just wanted to say that to bump this thread because it never should be close to leaving page 1.

Once again only score in 1 inning....bullpen gives it up late...and offense with no answer as usual....check that, no answer as always.
