I told my wife earlier that the Sox might be playing a team worse than them mostly because Oakland is trying to lose. I also said I figured the Sox would probably lose like 8-2.

Scouting is not an exact science. So few prospects actually succeed. That why you can get burned trading a major leaguer with years of control left for a minor league pitcher.
