The winning pitcher for the Yankees was one Jose Contreras and as we watched him dominate my Dad said, "Boy, I sure wish the Sox had a guy like this." The next season, I was driving back from a visit to Milwaukee with my wife and son and turned on the news to get traffic....they announced that the Sox had traded Esteban Loaiza to the Yankees and that was all they said, so I yelled back at the radio..."FOR WHO?" I soon found out for who and immediately called my Dad to tell him he got his man.
