I appreciate the optimism from some here but the problem is this has been a monumentally bad stretch of baseball, losing mostly to teams in their own division who aren't supposed to be any good. Of course the Sox can still win the division but the pessimism is warranted, especially with how bad the offense and defense has looked.

Hey, the White Sox have a better record against teams over .500.....they are 4-5 with 2 wins each against the Mariners and Rays while getting swept by the Twins Sox against teams under .500....their record is 3-6. I think we have the Halos right where we want them.

I'm still very happy that Kimbrel was jettisoned and nothing will change my mind about that. Nick Swisher performed much better when he left here but I didn't give a rat's ass about that......if you forget that time he hit a walk off against us.....that sucked.

Honestly, I would keep him where he is for now, continuing to build up confidence. He is a 30 year old rookie, so I am not sure you should put him in a higher leverage position. That being said, he is one of the few bright spots in this early season, along with Cease, Kopech and Vaughn.

Well you saved yourself some heartache. I only followed along on the gamethread myself while working. It sounded like it was a tough one to stomach watching.
