That's true...it really is not that bad of a drive....I'm thinking of heading up there next season for a game if you are interested.

The White Sox should definitely be willing to be in on the type of deals signed by Ray and Gausman. Maybe they really did not think either of them were the answer for their rotation needs.

Offseason plan....Keep Kimbrel but since he cannot setup and we already have the guy who has been the reliever of the year the last 2 seasons closing for us....Make Kimbrel an opener because.....

Correa and Seagar seem to be linked to alot of teams with interest....I'm not seeing that with Conforto so that just makes me a little leery....I guess our recent lack of success in RF has me more sceptical of any moves.

Alot of players have signed within the last week...Can someone explain to me why I should be excited about getting Conforto when it seems that other teams are not in on him? I know very little about him and am not against the guy but just curious why he is still on the market with seemingly very little interest if he is that desirable?

That's really an unfair assessment of the situation. Rick might just have been waiting to see if Conforto or his agent was offering a cyber Monday deal....don't criticize the guy for being budget conscious.

I'm disappointed...Sox need more starting pitching and thought he'd be a good pickup. Oh well.
