Vaughn looking better at the field than at the plate. I think he will be fine eventually but I am ok with sending him down when minors start. I am not sure he is quite ready for Major League pitching yet.
Good thing Ozzie is not on the post game...pregame the other day he said whatever you do, you don't let that guy (Ramirez) beat you. But then again, Rosario is generally a pain in the Sox' ass so there is that.
The last time I had seats that Steve said to get to really see the velocity was one of the first appearances of Shingo. His lack of velocity had guys corkscrewing themselves into the dirt. That was very fun to watch.
I generally despise the Cubs, but some some reason I always liked Rick Reuschel. Didn't he also have a brother Paul who basically was on the team because Rick was?
Also always liked Bill Buckner...felt very bad for him with that Red Sox between the legs bs.
I remember being at a game as a kid where Larry Doby got tossed out as a manager....He really was ripping in to the ump and I remember just loving it..."Go Get Him Larry!!"
If you go on MLB.com and pull up the game you can see matchups against Civale. I did not know if it was ok to post anything like that so I just thought I'd pass it on. Good Luck.
I did not realize that Tim did not win a silver slugger award until the year after he won the batting title. Looked it up and Xander Bogaerts did have quite the year at the plate in '19.
Lynn with a complete game shutout last time. Then I heard that he sort of called out his fellow starters to go deeper in games. Lucas and Carlos heard him. Keep this Cleveland offense down and win the series, Lance.
And welcome back Tim.
