Thanks Cali...cooking some risotto for the family and enjoying a fabulous St. Bernabus Apt 12 this Xmas Eve...all the best to you and all on Soxtalk for a wonderful Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year!! CHEERS everyone!!!
Crap!! I thought I was named a starter due to my witty and insightful posts...now I find out it is based solely on my # of posts?!?! Next they'll tell me I really don't have a hall of fame reputation
Since you like Vince Guaraldi (as do I)...If you have not heard "An Oscar Peterson Christmas" by the terrific Jazz Pianist and his quartet from 1995, give it a listen sometime...it is one of my absolute favorites. My holiday season is not complete without his tremendous version of "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas" (track #10)
All nice suggestions, thank you Brian...No problem testing my eclectic taste as the current discs I have on shuffle are The Ventures, Leslie Odom Jr, Charlie Brown, Bette Midler and The New Christy Minstrels....Kacey and Chance will fit in nicely
I always thought that I had an extensive collection of Christmas music CDs but being home most of the time during the pandemic and putting 5 CDs at a time on shuffle, I already realize I need some new selections and it is early in the season.
Any suggestions for music that I should have to round out a Christmas collection would be greatly appreciated. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music so any ideas of your favorites would be appreciated.
Happy Holidays fellow Sox Fans!!
This offense should be good enough to get them to the postseason especially if it is again an expanded playoffs so does it come down to the following....is Lynn the guy you want on the mound for game 2 or 3 of a playoff series?
A friend of mine went to school in Germany for a semester...he was discussing food with some students from the East Coast and he mentioned missing an Italian Beef and they said "oh like Arbys"...he was mortified.
