June 17, 20214 yr Krogman with 2 more walks already. That's 6 walks in his past 4 games, 13 walks in 16 total games. Strikes out a lot, but seems to have a decent eye. Maybe they're pitching around him lately since he's crushing it? Hopefully we see him in A+ sometime this year.
June 18, 20214 yr Sox getting knocked around...The Accountant is almost over....thought I'd check in on minors. Very interesting with Burger at 2B. Sox looking at internal options with him and maybe Beckham?
June 18, 20214 yr Something to keep an eye on is that Burger is murdering LHP with an OPS of 1.309. Only at 0.626 OPS vs RHP. Even if it’s not with the Sox, I would love to see him get at least a chance to be a platoon bat in the majors.
June 18, 20214 yr Pretty sure Sox fill second base with internal guys as the guys here ( Mendick and Garcia are decent enough) and if burger makes the jump that would be a great story. Burger was an elite hockey player back in his days at Christian Brothers academy ( top program in St. Louis) so he’s a tough kid who will likely never give up. also Sox shouldn’t trade any minor league pitchers like lambert or Stievers as this year is a game of attrition and the team that wins the World Series is likely the team that has the minimum number of injuries or greatest depth. The Sox will likely need 2-3 guys from Charlotte to come up and pitch this year. If there is an add anywhere I’d add more pitching.
