Danny is a great story. Good for him, but I did not realize that his comeback was over. If a coach can teach a fighting spirit, it is him. I second the Reinsdorf loyalty being a good thing in this case.
I'm not going through all that will they/won't they bs again this offseason, following every rumor hear at Soxtalk....oh who am I kidding, of course I will. I think I'll go follow Peggy Kasinski's kid on twitter now.
I know Jack and I agree. Just having a little fun. I was ready to DFA Jay the day after Manny signed with the Padres.
I also agree to bring up Collins, also to give McCann some days off. I think playing him every day is wearing him out a bit.
I laugh at the fantasy scenario of Hahn asking for the moon for Colome and when the other GMs say no way, he ends the call by saying "F... You then" and hangs up.
I think they need more pitching. I'm torn between hoping the Cubs had to give up something good and not wanting the Tigers to get anyone that is any good.
I know he's young but that at bat by Eloy in the 9th was awful....swinging at the first 2 pitches way up and in from a struggling pitcher. Very frustrating.
