I still think Engel could be a quality 4th bench guy on the competitive teams, purely in for speed and late inning defensive replacement, especially if our outfield consists of Eloy in left, Robert in center and a quality RF free agent next year, and Leury is our primary utility man. I know this is a Covey thread, but just my 2 cents there.

The one thing that no one wants to think about...we need to hope and pray that there are no major injuries, lingering or otherwise, to our core next year. Another injury year like 2018 and 2019 might prove to be detrimental. These injuries, in my opinion, need to get ironed out and should be on the Sox priority list this offseason.
