That's fine and all but that doesn't explain Burger, Basabe, etc. I agree with the pitchers. I would rather they teach more finesse and location control like Buehrle and Maddux.

Will see. I really think the lack of starting pitching this team has right now is a major motivator, if not at least for the rest of the team's mindset in games, being confident they have at least a chance with the starting pitcher on the mound. As much as Hahn will deny it, Detweiler and Cease both being up is a direct result of no other options.

I am wondering if it has anything to do with the conditioning programs these guys are on, or were on in college/high school. Are they being pushed too hard? Maybe they aren't being conditioned in the proper way?

I was literally thinking to myself man it would be nice if Eloy would just start terrorizing the division and then bam he hits one out. I also called the Sano hr earlier. Told my wife...he looks like he wants to hit one out. Next pitch there it goes.

Exactly how I felt after the loss. Kind of feeling like they're going to go on one of those 6-10 game losing streaks. Just feels like the enthusiasm with the fanbase is dead right now and the team seems to be deflated. Anderson looked visibly frustrated and not 100% there, and quite honestly immature last night the way he talked to the umpire yesterday after he got called out on strikes (as bad as the umps have been, he was legitimately aced there.)
