  1. 49 pitches and only 27 for strikes. Either he's getting squeezed or command is off. Kopech went through a rough stretch right around this time of year last year too. See if Cease can shake it off like he did.
  2. Yankees SS history is to White Sox 1B history...Jeter/Gregorius and Konerko/Abreu
  3. Uh, Nova has great movements on his pitches right now.
  4. Oh cool, I might try this. Don't really want to spend 300 dollars to watch them.
  5. I always see Rondon back off the plate like the ball is gonna hit him on anything remotely breaking inside toward him, like he is afraid of it hitting him.
  6. I think the ump is actually very accurate.
  7. I know there are a few people on here who live outside of the Chicagoland TV viewing area. Does anyone know if there is a service out there I would be able to purchase to where I would be able to live-stream the Bears regular season games, kind of like what I do with MLB.TV with the Sox? I've looked into NFL Sunday ticket, but it looks like you need to have direct tv to get it and I don't have cable or satellite.
  8. Banuelos struggling, and is visibly frustrated.
  9. Because Hahn has consistently said he will not bring up a player key to the rebuild when he is not ready just because of a need on the major league club. Especially now that they are not in win-now mode.
  10. Haha the starting pitching is so mediocre.
  11. Sanchez has thrown 23 pitches and it's almost the end of the 3rd...
  12. Well, we really won't know the results of the draft until all the prospects get here so that is an unknown at this point. I assume we will see the first product of this rebuild draft in Collins emerge in September. Then the others slowly arrive, and then you have the MLB adjustment period. I won't count Anderson since he isnt a Hostetler-era pick. And with free agency, well, we can all agree last offseason was a shit show but you can't really argue that one yet either. Still a couple more to go, I would say after the next 2 offseasons we can judge whether it was a failure or not. This is the part I probably have the least faith in though with the track record. I think the draft piece is gonna take the longest though, with the development and adjustment periods that are attached with it.
  13. If he keeps this up, Gio should start the AL all-star game
  14. Buehrle esque. This is what happens when you work quick and you trust your catcher
  15. Gio is the ultimate comeback story. He has gone from me expecting him to give up 3 runs and walk 4 in the first 2 innings last year to now me being surprised when he gives up a run. Wow.
