  1. Living outside of the sox viewing area, it comes in handy for me. Only can't use it to watch the sox when they play Detroit. And then I resort to...other means...
  2. This made me happy and I subsequently turned my PS5 on to access MLB.TV And then this made me sad.
  3. Why would it be blacked out on Netflix if it's only available on Netflix?
  4. Damn who voted for under 54 🤣
  5. I'm surprised Jim Thome has stuck around and has been as involved as he has
  6. Well hopefully Kay was just "working on stuff". Not a pretty line. 7 runs all earned, 4 walks, 4 k's and a homer.
  7. This is a pretty shallow question when considering all factors that are involved. Of course I want them to win. This isn't a tank year. It's a year for multiple players to step forward to show us what we have and what it means to take the next step to put the team in a position to win the division, or at least win a wild card spot in 2027...lockout notwithstanding.
  8. You don't have the ability to project vision do you
  9. Exactly. I couldn't care less about passing the Cubs. As a Sox fan that's been a fan since childhood and will be one for life, I just want a winning baseball team, which will draw fans in and of itself. A new ballpark, done the RIGHT way, will help draw in even more people that aren't currently fans of the team. I'm all for this fanbase to grow and there is plenty of opportunity for that. Who cares if the Cubs are more popular. This isn't a popularity contest, there is plenty to go around for both teams. Ishbia just needs to go about things the right way to really capitalize on opportunities, and there are ways I'm sure to do that and make fans happy at the same time, unlike Jerry who for some reason it always feels like his decision making ends up going against the fans' interest. Ya know, the people that ultimately bring in the dollars, aside from the investors.
  10. They'll figure it out. Anyone that can hit major league pitching, and for power at that, has value especially in today's game. Someone is always injured, so one way or another he'll play in place of them. Ideally, he should DH with his defensive limitations, which now that Teel will be out for at least the month of April and Quero being the main catcher with Korey Lee backing him up, I'm sure they would prefer Sosa's bat in there at DH vs Lee, whereas with Teel healthy I'm guessing you probably would see more Teel/Quero DH'ing on their off-catching days.
  11. That rainbow bubble waffle though.
  12. Any way to watch these games for free? Lol
  13. I read "landing Josh Allen" and thought the Bears "landed" him lmao
  14. Yeah, he is a fantastic broadcaster, but I'd have a hard time with him being completely neutral on air with national broadcasts and then being completely for my team the other 75% of the time or whatever, and if his goal is to do national broadcasting full time it wasn't going to last anyway. Still feels weird that he's in Detroit. Wonder how long that is going to last.
  15. I think these crosstown matchups should be more entertaining this year than they have been in a long time. Cubs are good, Sox should be a lot more competitive. Looking forward to those games. Seeing the May 15th showdown in person this year. Oddly enough I've seen 3 crosstown matchups, all at Wrigley, this will be my first on the south side.
  16. I think they'll move Colson to 3B to make room for Roch at SS.
  17. Eh. Detroit could do a lot more. I think the Illich's are content with what they have on the field because of the terrible division.
  18. I hope we don't have to go through this s%*# when it becomes the Sox turn for a new stadium. This is exhausting.
  19. Love the aggressiveness on the basepaths. Hoping that translates to the regular season.
  20. God I love Jon Miller. Such an iconic voice. Glad he still calls games. He and Joe Morgan were the voices of my baseball childhood for national games. RIP Joe. I hope he and Ed Farmer are calling games up in heaven.
  21. Yeah but usually when they bring them up quickly they're rushing development. I realize that Roch is an unusual case though, might be MLB ready now...
