Um, they are, by definition of the last few series, and really the entire season, losers.

Eh. Every sport has it's "dumb" thing. I would akin it to the NFL's pro-bowl. Nobody really cares but it gets the sport some national attention. I really think for the WBC it depends on who's playing. And this roster, at least on the position side, is truly stacked...I'd be excited to watch.

If Stone leaves due to age and just being over it, and Benetti leaves due to getting better pay with national gigs and also being over it, I want to see a broacast duo of Pierzynski as the color guy and Pods calling play by play.

I would agree, but it's going to take more than just not making the postseason. It's going to take a complete change in ownership, front office, coaching and management. And I highly doubt any of that is happening anytime soon. And this is coming from the biggest White Sox front office/JR apologist 2016-2021. This year has completely broken me and brought me to the other side. For me, it didn't start even with the TLR hire. It started with the complete inaction of this offseason to address the needs of the ballclub.

But let's be honest. If they didn't play these guys hurt they wouldn't play at all. How is Jose fucking Abreu our most healthy player?
