The Grinder

Someone has to say it....so when does football season start???

With a lifetime BA of .833 who ever will remember Ted Williams?

i always wondered who our Mercedes was on this team, now I know!.....oh that was bad

I'm starting a savings acct just for World Series tix!?

They way I understood it, if I keep my current package and added the NBC Sports Chicago, it was $28 and yes it seems like a lot, maybe if I downgraded my orginal package I could get a break, I do know the price is negotiable as I got about $20 knocked off my orginal bill, its worth a call back

They quoted me extra $28 month for channel 429, despite the occasional blackout, most Sox games be televised. Basically $1 a day, hey I'm a tight ass so will see how the season progresses first

Excuse me if this was discussed earlier but how late in the season can a player be on the roster and sill be included on the playoff roster? Also wouldnt Eloy need to do a minor league stint for at least a few wk but the minors are done approx Sept 1 correct?

Now the arduous task of navigating thru Dish network incredibly inconvenient phone system

94 w's and 2nd place, down from pre-Eloy injury whereas would have said 98 wins and 1st place

I think I used to get it a few yrs ago but IIRC not now. I wonder why when I chatted w the rep this AM he didnt refer me to that channel? Maybe he received a commission if I did the extra innings? Anyway, thank you!

I think yr spot on, thank you, best two cents I ever spent! but since I have Dish network I'll have to see if they have Comcast sports channel so how does MLB determine blackouts?

Thank you for clarification, I live west of Rockford. How does a black out occur? Didnt it used to be determined by the amount of tickets sold by the home team in advance?

So I'm kind of in the dark on how NBC sports channel is blacking out games in my area, but it doesn't look life there are many Sox games at least in the foreseeable future. I have Dish and NBC is channel 159. Per Dish the fee is about $130 for extra innings but then again some games are blacked out which I wont buy. into. Any suggestions on how to see our beloved team this summer on TV,, not my PC? Thank you!

Who's to say the Twins wont have a major injury to one of their studs? Its a way the world evens itself out.....

My accountant told me what is already expected, with the current administration our taxes will go up

I remember that experiment gone awry, wasnt that the Hawks brain child?

Hope its not putting too much pressure on Vaughn to perform both at the plate and in LF, but if hes gonna be a pro, hes gotta suck it up

Should we applause Eloy for trying to rob someone of a homer or villanize him for trying something like this on a meaningless game?

Sox snakebitten again!

Not a fan of big Gov in our lives but this may be a case of something good, I plan on getting shots soon. Pritzker is not popular in my part of this state but I'm not ripping on him, hes trying to do the right thing.

absolutely

I guess we put Lopez on the already full scrap heap of shoulda, woulda & coulda have We seem collect this class of players

Vafan thanks for the ride down memory lane, I had forgotten some of what went on. Hoping we will make some more memories in the coming yrs with a dynasty

I've filed at least 25 straight yrs of extensions, so many that my accountant once told me if I ever filed on time I would probably get audited So the new deadline of May 17 is good!

And I thought Gary Bettman was bad....
