QUOTE(Brian @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 10:48 PM) I just don't think OSU is that good, but neither is anyone really else in college football. OSU had a weak schedule, especially their non conference opponents. Does BCS still take into account strength of schedule? This will be without a doubt the weakest national champion since the BCS started. -

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 10:38 PM) Speaking of corrupt, how about the Pitt game? Talk about the fix being in. I brought that up earlier. I would seriously want those officials investigated if I was a Pitt fan. It was absurd and basically rather obvious biased officiating. -

QUOTE(Brian @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 10:31 PM) Kind of sad that OSU is going to fall into the title game. Maybe, but they deserved to be there over WVU regardless of today's result. The Big East is a joke. -

Herbstreit just said he would have KU in the BCS (assuming Oklahoma win). So basically MU would be penalized for playing Oklahoma twice and KU would be rewarded for losing to the only good team they played, and beating up on a bunch of piece of crap teams. Makes sense. -

QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 09:56 PM) cough cough playoff cough cough Yep, I would love to see it. 8 teams, take the SEC, ACC, Big 10, Pac 10, Big 12 champions. Maybe the Big East champion. Use the BCS formula to select the at large teams (2 if you want the Big East to get automatic bid, I tend to think they shouldn't and 3 if no automatic bid for Big East). -

Fix is in for WVU and they still can't take advantage. -

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 09:27 PM) I do think you would see LSU jump back into the NC game in that scenario. It would have to be. No way you could justify KU, Va. Tech, or Georgia getting in over them (all teams ahead of them in the last BCS standings). Quite frankly I don't think KU is very good, did not beat a decent team all year and didn't even make their conference title game. LSU freaking throttled Va Tech, and LSU should obviously be in over Georgia since they won the SEC and Georgia didn't even win their division. -

Wow, what a weak freaking call against Pitt there. That should have been a TD without a doubt. -
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 07:01 PM) If Williams plans on moving Danks/Gio for another bat than this move would make quite a bit of sense, imo. The Sox rotation isn't exactly a guarantee to be good. Neither is Capuano. In fact I would bet pretty heavily that he would struggle to have an ERA under 5 in the AL. Crede for Capuano would be just an awful trade from a value perspective.

QUOTE(jenks45monster @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 05:57 PM) I heard a rumor that the Cards were interested in a deal that would send Scott Rolen to the Brewers for south paw Chris Capuano and outfielder Kevin Mench. Wouldn't this be something the Sox should look at? Seeing as the Brewers are obviously interested in a third baseman and it would give the Sox another proven veteran. What do you guys think about this scenario? Are you being serious?

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Dec 1, 2007 -> 03:14 PM) What is with all the fuss over Jacoby Ellsbury? The guy is going to be a good player but you really have to question Boston is he's the one holding up a Santana trade. I understand reluctance to part with players when it is a rent a player or a fifth starter or reliever. But for the best pitcher in the game? There is not a prospect I wouldn't trade to land Santana. Sounds like the Yankees are willing to part with Hughes. If I'm the Twins I jump on that.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Nov 28, 2007 -> 09:36 PM) Buckeyes miss their 15th layup of the night, Koufos turning in 5 of his own. Koufos must have taken some pointers from Pruitt before tonight's game. -

Seriously McCamey needs to be on the court 30+ minutes. Start getting Davis, Cole, and Tisdale more minutes as well. If Pruitt is going to play like that, than bench him. -

I've said it before, but Mike Patrick is the worst announcer in any sport. In fact he is by far the worst announcer I have ever heard. -

QUOTE(SnB @ Nov 28, 2007 -> 08:09 PM) yeah i was waiting for someone to call me out on that, i forgot about him. He's had another solid game. We just missed 2 open threes, this ballgame looks over. We still probably lose this, but looks like you spoke too soon. -

I'd seriously consider benching Randle, Pruitt, and Frazier tonight. They have been awful. -

Shaun Pruitt is really pressing this year. He has always forced some bad shots, but this has been ridiculous. You can tell he is trying to showcase himself a bit but he is just playing worse as a result. He should never be shooting turn around jump shots and he is rushing everything around the hoop. He has made several good moves this year where he rushed the finish and missed as a result. He really needs to slow the game down. -

It sucks but Duke is really good again. Also, I'm not sure if I missed something but why isn't Landry getting minute for Wisky? They badly need to get more athletes in the game. -

IU is solid in the backcourt and DJ is very good but their frontcourt outside of DJ White is horrendous. That is likely going to keep them from doing anything that special this year. -
This is the most fun I have ever had watching a scoreless tie.

Can a Bears receiver ever go up and make a play?

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 20, 2007 -> 11:30 PM) , and McCamey is a very good talent but is lost in the motion offense and seems slow on defense, so he'll be very up and down this year IMO (down tonight). I think almost all of his problem is intensity and concentration based. He tends to get lazy at times and really does not always seem to be as into the game as he should be. He had the same problem in high school. He has to learn when you play a team like Duke you can't take plays off and you have to be decisive. He has a ton of talent but he has a tendency to coast. Most of his mistakes tonight had little to do with understanding the offense and everything to do with not playing with the type of intensity necessary against a team like Duke.
