  1. Mackey is a tough place to play but when you let well over 1,000 Illinois fans invade your place I would say you lose a bit of the home court advantage.
  2. Last I checked, the Yankees still won their division and advanced further in the playoffs than the Red Sox every year. Who cares if you win the regular season series if the other team still wins the division and knocks you out in the playoffs. At this point in time the Red Sox Daddy=Yankees
  3. The Twins were a better team and proved it by kicking the Sox ass down the stretch.
  4. Large crowds due not equal loud or good crowds. See Michigan football fans in the Big House. Quietest 100,000+ people ever.
  5. The Big 10 does have great home court advantages but the attendance is more due to larger arenas than anything else.
  6. 1. Assembly Hall (Illinois)-best home winning percentage over the last 5 years 2. Allen Fieldhous (Kansas) 3. Kohl Center (Wisconsin) 4. Cameron Indoor (Duke) 5. O'Connell Center (Florida) 6. Rupp Arena (Kentucky) 7. Gallagher IBA (Oklahoma St.) 8. Dean Smith Center (UNC) 9. Comcast Center (Maryland) 10. Breslin Center (Michigan St.)
  7. What part of Dwayne Wade doesn't impress you? The part where he single handedly led a Marquette team who isn't even NCAA tourney caliber without him to the final 4. Or the part where he was the catalyst to the Miami Heat making the playoffs and getting out of the first round. Or the part where he is already a great defender and plays balls out for 48 minutes. Damn, yeah I can see why you wouldn't be impressed by Dwayne Wade.
  8. I actually think he's the back up PG to Hinrich. And he'll probably see some time at the SG as well. If he's good enough to get crunch time minutes in the playoffs for the Knicks (even if was a badly depleted Knicks squad) the Bulls should find some minutes for the guy.
  9. Frank Williams is a good defender too if he gets the chance to play.
  10. Carlos Beltran is awesome. Just hit a solo shot making it a 4-2 game.
  11. Here's an article from cnn.com on his passing. LINK
  12. Being reported that he fell into a coma on Saturday and died of caridac arrest.
  13. Fox News is also reporting that Christopher Reeve has passed away.
  14. At this point in time Jayson Werth>>>>>>Joe Borchard
  15. I had a gay roomate last year but he was open about it. It was uncomfortable for a little while but it ended up being fine.
  16. Thats what I thought as well and I'm still holding out hope that this report is false.
  17. RIP Ken and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family members and friends. I hate hearing news like this.
  18. Drudgereport.com is reporting that Christopher Reeve has passed away.LINK
  19. His recruiting on the offensive side of the ball minus the QB position has actually been really good. He brought in what was thought to be a great class of lineman two years ago, he signed Halsey, Pierre Thomas, Jason Davis, Brock Bolen, and for next year Rashard Mendenhall who is one of the best 5 RB in the country so he hasn't had anytrouble recruiting for the backfield. Hes also brought in some pretty highly thought of recievers in Kelvin Hayden (now playing CB) and Lonnie Hurst who started as a FR last year but hasn't been worthy of the hype yet. Now recruiting defense is something he has never done well and even that Sugar Bowl teams defense wasn't good as they were absolutely exposed vs. LSU. That team just happened to have Kurt Kittner who was a great college QB with all kinds of WR for him to throw to.
  20. Yeah, Walter Young (was on Panthers last year, got cut but I think he is on someone elses practice squad now), Brandon Lloyd(49ers), Greg Lewis (Eagles), Aaron Moorehead (Colts). Edit: Walter Young signed on with the Pittsburg Steelers practice squad.
  21. I'm sure most pitchers have good ERA's in the games they win. But I'm not sure why that means anything because Garland made 21 other starts and in those starts is ERA sucked.
  22. I don't think the Lakers will be that good but they still have Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom which is a hell of a lot more than the Bulls have for this year.
