Honestly, I just can't see IU making the tourney this year. The Big 10 is going to have a very low RPI and I don't see more than 4 teams from the Big 10 getting in. In order for Indiana to get in the tourney they will have to surpass MSU, Iowa, Wisconsin, or Illinois and I don't see it happening.

Saving money only helps if it is then spent on a player that will help the club. If they go out and get a good starting pitcher with the money they saved then I like the trade, if not then the trade sucks.

A novel thought, but how about blaming the players for underachieving for a change. The ball clubs that have been put out on the field by Williams have talent wise been superior to the Twins but the Twins just keep winning. The Sox winning percentage is over .500 under Williams so its not like hes putting together awful teams.

Exactly, on third and 2 you should be able to pick up those yards on a simple running play. Its not his fault if his offense is so inept that they can't execute a running play to gain two yards.

I'm not a big fan of Shea up to this point but how about we at least give the guy some real NFL talent to work with before saying how bad he is. No one with Krenzel, Quinn, and the Bears offensive line is going to look good calling plays. Add in the fact that the Bears receivers are mediocre at best and its not a very good combination.

UNC had Sean May go down that year and before that they were actually doing real well.

SG, end of story. Ben Gordon is not a PG. He can handle the ball but he isn't a guy you want setting up an offense, let him play SG and score and he will be a very effective player.

Hopefully people realize that he is not and never will be a PG and he should be left at the SG where he can be a very good scorer.

Yeah, Augustine has played pretty badly tonight. I really wish he would go up and try to dunk the ball rather than put up those weak layups. When you try to dunk the vast majority of the time if its blocked a foul gets called.

Illinois leads by 7 at halftime. Georgetown fans started chanting overrated in the first half of the game. If your going to chant it, you may want to wait until your team is actually in control of the game to do so.

Its not like they were going to make the NCAA tourney anyway. Michigan did the same thing following the fallout of the Fab 5 when they weren't a tourney team either. I want to see one of these schools do something like this when they have a great team (either football or basketball) but you know that would never happen. Turning down a crappy bowl or imposing a ban on postseason play when it doesn't matter means nothing to me.

Before tonight, Pruitt had looked good to me. He is very aggressive on offense, tonight he was overly aggressive and do that he had a couple travels while trying to make post moves. He's a good rebounder and he has the physical tools to be a great college big man.

Actually Calvin Brock and Pruitt were both 4 star recruits and top 100 type players, not to mention that they were the 2nd and 3rd best players in Illinois last year behind a guy who was a top 5 pick in the NBA draft. Those were the blue chippers from Illinois last year. What could you have possibly have had in mind for last year?

Or Michigan? If you include the ACC and Big East champ you have to include the Big 10 champ.
