I don't see any real problem with it. It doesn't take away from the game and why shouldn't the teams get more money from advertisers if they can.

Can you really blame them at this point? Their chance for a WS in '94 was ruined by the strike, they have seen every great player the franchise has had either traded or leave via free agency, their current team sucks, and they know that the team will be moved out of Montreal very soon.

Agreed. Why give up an out with two men on and our hottest hitter at the plate? Especially with Kelly up next. It really didn't make sense.
