  1. If you're offering, could you do something with Elisha Cuthbert for me. I can send you the pictures if you want.
  2. I'm taking the Marlins. I really like the team plus I drew them in a pool that I'm in. 8 guys on my floor decided to put 10 dollars in a pot and draw a random team. Winner take all.
  3. ST. LOUIS -- The regular season may be over, but the war of words between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals continues with St. Louis reliever Steve Kline saying he hopes Cubs right-hander Mark Prior "takes a line drive to the forehead and we never have to see him again." The comments from Kline, a left-hander known for his soiled cap and sometimes outrageous comments, appeared Monday on KSDK-TV in St. Louis. It wasn't clear if he was joking. Calls to his home telephone went unanswered Tuesday. Prior is scheduled to start Friday in Game 3 of the Cubs' first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Braves. The Cardinals and Cubs have been rivals for more than a century, a rivalry that heated up this season as the teams and the Houston Astros battled for the NL Central title. By mid-September, with the Cardinals on the verge of elimination, St. Louis right-hander Matt Morris said he wanted the Astros to win the division if the Cardinals couldn't. "When we compete against them the games are intense but they don't have that 'I want to kill you, I hate you' attitude," Morris said. Days later, with the Cardinals and Astros about to begin a three-game series, Prior told Sporting News Radio he couldn't root for the Cardinals, even against Houston. "I hope actually that Houston beats their brains in and just sends them all the way back to whoever is in fourth place now," Prior said. "Biggio and Bagwell are classy guys," Kline told KSDK, referring to Houston's Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell. "They play hard every day. They don't have a guy popping off, saying how they want us to get our heads bashed in. I hope Prior takes a line drive to the forehead and we never see him again."
  4. Just kidding. Pretty funny quote at the end of this article. Link
  5. Looks like we might have a hell of a pitchers duel going here.
  6. Some pretty good pics in here. Except for the last one :fthecubs Pics
  7. I agree, I think that AROD is probably already the greatest shortstop of all time. Let alone of this era.
  8. Not criticizing your list, because this is just opinion, but how can you not have Pedro on there. If you look at how dominant he has been compared to the rest of the league its almost ridiculous. He has been a much better pitcher than both Schilling and Glavine and he has been better than Johnson or Maddux.
  9. Thats about what I had heard too. 10-12 mil is about where I had pegged Colon's worth also. If any team offers him more than that then they are grossly overpaying for him.
  10. Right the same Braves team that averaged over 7 runs against the Cubs vaunted pitching staff including a shellacking of Prior. I'll give the Cubs a chance, but the Braves win that series.
  11. Can you explain why Clinton is in your top 3, I would really like to know your reasoning behind this.
  12. Actually Washington was the first to have a cabinet. Everyone else followed his lead. Are you sure? I could have sworn that Jackson was the first to have a full presidential cabinet, I could be wrong though, maybe he was just the first to call it a cabinet. Yeah, I'm positive.
  13. Actually Washington was the first to have a cabinet. Everyone else followed his lead.
  14. You're kidding right. He wasn't bad, but the best ever? The guy should have been impeached. He completely went above the Supreme Court when he wouldn't enforce their ruling that the Cherokee were entitled to their lands resulting in the trail of tears.
  15. I'd feel the same way. Remember, its always harder to find good pitching than good hitting.
  16. Anyone watch the press conference? Williams said that Colon was offered one of the richest packages in club history. Sounds promising.

    dammit people

I actually felt the same way so I resized mine a couple days ago. Is it small enough now?
  18. I found this link while looking through an Illini message board. Has anyone heard anything about this? This would be one of the dumbest moves in the history of baseball if it happens.Link
  19. Mine is. Mine's not but I'm to lazy to do anything with it. Plus, I shrank it so its not a huge pornographic representaion, just a small one.
  20. I haven't really been in very many relationships either. In fact I'm pretty pathetic when it comes to dating. But no I have never cheated on in any of my very few relationships.
  21. Actually he only had seven non quality starts. And looking at the lines only 3 were really bad. In one start he gave up 3 runs in 5 innings, in two he gave up 5 ER in 7 innings, and against the Cubs he gave up 5 runs, 4 ER in 7 innings and most of those runs were Jimenez's fault. Blaming any part of this season on Loaiza is a joke. If Colon, Buehrle and the 5th starter along with the offense produced in the first half we never would have been in a tight race with Minnesota. Even in most of his bad starts Loaiza kept us in the game. Please Roman just shut up, and stop blaming the guy who was by far our best player this year and the team MVP.
  22. Hey moron you corrected the wrong part of frustrated for him.
