  1. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 23, 2016 -> 11:29 AM) Jimmy Buckets will be playing in the olympics. Could be a good opportunity for him to start recruiting other potential FA's / showcasing the type of teammate he can be (so hopefully he is on his best behavior). I hate the extra minutes he's going to play, but I also view it as a really good learning experience for him to be around some of the best in the NBA. That is really good for Butler. With the amount of guys who have decided not to play because of injuries or otherwise this is going to be a really mediocre team (in comparison to what it could have been). The 8 guys we appear to know so far are Lowry, Butler, Anthony, Durant, Green, Cousins, George and Jordan. That is a far cry from what people thought the team would look like 6 months ago with Curry, Paul, Davis, James, etc.
  2. QUOTE (harkness @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 07:33 PM) Quintana is his own worse enemy half the time... He nibbled and walks and walks. As soon as he gets runs he give them right back. He is the guy that they should trade. He is good enough to get something. Ridiculously stupid post
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 22, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) I would rather watch Khalid El Amin in the back court than watch either Lopez brother play basketball. It's like convincing me Joe Johnson isn't that bad. He is certainly tall and can rebound, but they make me hate the sport of basketball. Robin Lopez is actually a bad defensive rebounder if that makes you feel better. Solid rim protector though.
  4. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 21, 2016 -> 08:48 PM) I swear to god Bradley is on the take. He's been absolutely horrible. And yet Wondo makes him look like Messi. Anyone who would actually even have him on the roster let alone start him against Argentina is a f***ing idiot.
  5. Blouses. Completely outclassed and made worse by Klinsmann's pathetic lineup.
  6. Wondo is a f***ing joke. Get him out of the game.
  7. It is early but Wondo and Beckerman bring nothing to the table (this was obvious to everyone before the game even started). Pull them for Nagbe and Pulisic please.
  8. Beckerman with another pass to no one. He is so awful.
  9. Also that was f***ing pathetic by Guzan. If he plays that ball aggressively he takes it out of the air easily.
  10. I'd replace Beckerman already. He f***ing sucks and is way too slow to play in this game.
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 20, 2016 -> 12:42 PM) Will take Dirk over Olajuwon all day every day. Especially since 25 years ago cuts a lot of Hakeems career out. I really meant that cutoff as simply guys I have seen play in their primes and I would take Hakeem over Dirk all day every day.
  12. Top 5 players of the last 25 years: 1. Jordan 2. Lebron 3. Shaq 4. Duncan 5. Olajuwon (I'd accept arguments for Kobe here as well)
  13. Holy s***! What a f***ing game!!!!!
  14. Unbelievably defense by Kevin Love on Curry.
  15. That's an all time great defensive play by Lebron. Wow
  16. Jefferson should not be in this game over Love tonight. Cleveland has played by far their best with their starters tonight.
  17. Lebron hasn't been good at all tonight.
  18. That ridiculously lazy play by JR Smith just led to a huge momentum swing for the Warriors.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 09:47 AM) Guy's got 27.2/7.5/7 for his f***ing career on 50% shooting and he's not leveraging his gifts? He's a model citizen off the court, hilarious, and works his ass off, and has averaged 77 games played per season over 13 years in The League. But yep, should totally be 40/10/10 because why exactly? GET THE F*CK OVER THE DECISION PEOPLE But Steve, he is only the second best player of all time. Clearly he hasn't leveraged his gifts.
  20. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 08:28 AM) Why so many days off between games? I know the 2-2-1-1-1 changes it but ugh. It's 2016. Travel is easy. I can't see Green being that bad again and can't see TT being that dominant. Plus it's in GS. I'll go Warriors by 7. If Iguodola's back is not a lot better by Sunday I don't see the Warriors being able to pull this out unless Klay and Curry go absolutely crazy. They have no one who can defend Lebron other than Iguodola.
  21. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:41 PM) They were down what, by 10 when they called that 5th foul on Curry? That would have been a breakaway layup with momentum. It didn't determine the game, but foul calls like that can absolutely swing things. Curry fouled Irving on that play by the way. Reached once and fouled and got away with it and then reached across his body when his hands were all over Irving right before the strip. I'm not feeling sorry for any player who gets called there.
  22. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:39 PM) Agreed. If you lose by double digits, don't whine about officials. He couldn't stay in front of anyone all night and was reaching constantly. Guess what, you are going to get called for fouls.
  23. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:34 PM) That 5th foul they called on him was terrible. The NBA gets what they want. Lol. Curry's fouls tonight that actually impacted the game were legitimate. The Cavs were the better team the entire game tonight and it wasn't close.
  24. Horrible offense by the Cavs the last couple minutes. They look awful whenever one of Irving or James is out especially when you have Shumpert in who is not a threat to do anything on offense (and he really isn't good on defense either).
  25. The USA consistently gets the short end of the stick from refs. It is really ridiculous.
