  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 10:17 AM) Leonard Floyd just had a cringeworthy interview on Goff and Spiegel What did he say (or is just Derrick Rose level stupid)?
  2. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 29, 2016 -> 08:35 AM) The White Sox basically picked pre-injury Danks over Buehrle. The logic was pretty solid. The result wasn't. Yeah, there are contracts that are bad when they are signed (Pablo Sandoval with Boston) and then there are contracts and moves which are good when they are made but then become bad through unfortunate circumstances and that is the case with Danks. He was a really good pitcher before the injury that signed a deal that was probably below market to stay with the Sox long term. Then of course he had the shoulder injury and has been terrible since.
  3. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 10:28 PM) I'm a huge fan of the Cards pick. He will probably be a monster there.
  4. Even when he does get people out right now it basically luck that a hard hit ball was hit right at someone or the defense makes a great play.
  5. Please no more Danks this year. This team has so much going for it but he is a disaster.
  6. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 06:25 PM) It's hard to suck with defense like this. His last start proved that too. And yet he is still managing to do just that.
  7. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 02:57 PM) I'm in no way excusing the act, but I bet that there are dozens of NFL players with unreported college sexual assaults in their life history. Um, so you should knowingly draft and pay big money to a guy you know has a sexual assault accusation that was also accused of assault by an ex-girlfriend? Dude is a piece of trash. No thanks to having a guy like that.
  8. QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 28, 2016 -> 08:40 AM) But so is Bosa from other reports. Who knows though. A lot of what we hear are teams just positioning themselves to make others think what they want. Yeah, I wouldn't believe a single word of where certain players are going to go at this point. I'm pretty sure I have now seen more than 15 players linked to going between picks 3-10.
  9. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 01:28 PM) Truth of the matter is that the Astros haven't been all that great since their hot start last year. And the Ken Giles trade is up there with the Shelby Miller trade for just remarkably stupid trades that made no sense at the time and are looking terrible in hindsight too.
  10. Blake Griffin also done for postseason. Looks like the Warriors will get the Trailblazers in the second round.
  11. Chris Paul breaks a bone in his right hand. This playoffs sucks ass and that is a monster break for the Warriors.
  12. Wow, Leicester now one win (or Tottenham loss) from the title.
  13. Sprained knee for Curry and he will have an MRI tomorrow.
  14. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) Not watching: is Weaver that good or the offense that bad? The offense sucks. The current version of Jered Weaver is a bad pitcher.
  15. The Angels lineup is laughably bad. That franchise is in some trouble right now. Their major league roster isn't good at all and their minor league system is by far and away the worst in baseball. If they didn't have Trout it would be time to just fold up shop.
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 21, 2016 -> 10:06 AM) Jack's knee is apparently about to be shredded http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer/jason-...lown-disgusting
  17. Can we fast forward to the second round? Unbelievably boring first round so far.
  18. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 19, 2016 -> 09:34 PM) Think it was coming out anyways Yeah, the fan brushing Melky was actually a break for us. He was dropping that ball.
  19. The Warriors could definitely just rest Curry the rest of this series if they needed to. The Rockets are garbage.
  20. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 07:55 PM) Which means he probably won't be drafted. Someone with a lot of extra picks (like the 49ers or Patriots) will likely take him pretty late and give him basically a redshirt season.
  21. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 18, 2016 -> 11:34 AM) Henry interests me as a second round option, but Alabama running backs' NFL results have made me gun shy about wanting the Bears to draft one of them. Eh, Mark Ingram has turned into a really good NFL running back. Eddie Lacy has been really good when not fat and out of shape (which I don't think you'd have to worry about at all with Henry since that is a different body type). TJ Yeldon had a solid rookie year. Richardson was a colossal bust but if the Bears take Henry in the 2nd I wouldn't be that concerned based on prior Bama running backs.
  22. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 17, 2016 -> 11:29 AM) For sure. And with most of these West series going to be clunkers, it sucks to have one of the series in the East affected by an injury like this. Yep. The bottom of the West sucks and the top is awesome. The only series that has a chance to be interesting at all in the West is the Blazers series and even there I don't think the Blazers have a real shot but Lillard and McCollum are really fun to watch and they can steal a couple of games.
  23. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 08:24 AM) Probably true. If Wentz or Goff is a franchise guy though it's totally worth it. Yep. It is such a QB driven league that if whichever one of those guys they draft turns out to be a stud nobody will care what they gave up for him because you will be a playoff contender for the next decade plus and will have time to build a team around them (especially since it isn't like the Rams talent level right now is barren, they have some legit studs).
  24. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 14, 2016 -> 12:00 AM) He scored like 15 points the last 3 minutes Yep. He had about 45 pts on 45 shots with roughly 3 minutes to go. And from that point on he went crazy and the Jazz forgot how to play basketball.
