  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 09:47 AM) Guy's got 27.2/7.5/7 for his f***ing career on 50% shooting and he's not leveraging his gifts? He's a model citizen off the court, hilarious, and works his ass off, and has averaged 77 games played per season over 13 years in The League. But yep, should totally be 40/10/10 because why exactly? GET THE F*CK OVER THE DECISION PEOPLE But Steve, he is only the second best player of all time. Clearly he hasn't leveraged his gifts.
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 17, 2016 -> 08:28 AM) Why so many days off between games? I know the 2-2-1-1-1 changes it but ugh. It's 2016. Travel is easy. I can't see Green being that bad again and can't see TT being that dominant. Plus it's in GS. I'll go Warriors by 7. If Iguodola's back is not a lot better by Sunday I don't see the Warriors being able to pull this out unless Klay and Curry go absolutely crazy. They have no one who can defend Lebron other than Iguodola.
  3. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:41 PM) They were down what, by 10 when they called that 5th foul on Curry? That would have been a breakaway layup with momentum. It didn't determine the game, but foul calls like that can absolutely swing things. Curry fouled Irving on that play by the way. Reached once and fouled and got away with it and then reached across his body when his hands were all over Irving right before the strip. I'm not feeling sorry for any player who gets called there.
  4. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:39 PM) Agreed. If you lose by double digits, don't whine about officials. He couldn't stay in front of anyone all night and was reaching constantly. Guess what, you are going to get called for fouls.
  5. QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 10:34 PM) That 5th foul they called on him was terrible. The NBA gets what they want. Lol. Curry's fouls tonight that actually impacted the game were legitimate. The Cavs were the better team the entire game tonight and it wasn't close.
  6. Horrible offense by the Cavs the last couple minutes. They look awful whenever one of Irving or James is out especially when you have Shumpert in who is not a threat to do anything on offense (and he really isn't good on defense either).
  7. The USA consistently gets the short end of the stick from refs. It is really ridiculous.
  8. Anderson Varejao continues to be a complete b****. I have zero respect for that guy as a player and as much as I like Curry and Thompson Varejao and Green are as unlikeable as players (for on court activity) as there are in the league.
  9. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Jun 16, 2016 -> 08:44 PM) Not sure about that. He's just not hitting his shots and it's been for most of the playoffs it seems. I'm assuming he is talking about his complete inability to defend.
  10. Lol at that last call. Draymond Green blows a layup without contact and gets the call. I have no idea why that flopper gets any calls.
  11. Garcia is an absolute disaster in RF. Why the hell is he playing the field?
  12. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 14, 2016 -> 08:08 AM) Wiggins and the 5th pick and the deal is done. If you don't get Wiggins, I'm not making this deal. By the way, there is no way the Wolves are going to give up the #5 & Wiggins without intense pressure from another team (i.e,. Boston offering the #3, Brooklyn's unprotected pick in next years draft, and like Crowder or Olynk (or however the hell you spell it). I don't think Bulls would turn down either of those deals and to be frank, those are the only type of deals I'm going to make if I were in the Bulls shoes (and I put odds on either team offering up that as relatively low). My preference would be on the Wiggins and the 5th (but I still don't see a lot of reasons why Twolves would do it). Basically unless a huge bidding war breaks out over Butler, I think he stays with the Bulls. The real question is what happens with DRose, imo. I still think he goes somewhere for a late 1st. I don't expect Durant to leave OKC which is what could actually put the Bulls in an interesting spot (regarding Butler) as he'd be the best, potentially on the block asset in the league. My big problem is I don't want Hoiberg around and I don't like Gar. If we had a better coach, I'd be more comfortable moving Butler, but than again, if we had a better coach, I honestly don't think we are talking about moving Butler and instead are talking about moving Rose and finding a good point guard and other young talent to surround around Buckets. So kind of a who knows. I do think Rose needs to leave Chicago and he'll probably get better being another year removed from injuries, etc, but he clearly is too soft of a player and since he isn't a great passer and isn't a great outside shooter, his style isn't going to work that well in this current NBA regime unless he really wants to play aggressive and attack. The Timberwolves wouldn't trade Wiggins straight up for Butler.
  13. Anderson Varejao is the biggest flopper in the league
  14. Avi Garcia is just a remarkably bad baseball player in all facets.
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 11, 2016 -> 11:26 AM) 2-10 with a 4.65 ERA as a starter this year. 1.46 WHIP, 6.4 k/9. He was really good out of the bullpen his first two years at Washington St. and was apparently good out of the bullpen in the Cape Cod league as well. Stuff probably just doesn't hold as a starter.
  16. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 11, 2016 -> 09:29 AM) Wonder if we'll finally take some HS talent I doubt we will take very many I don't think we are getting a discount on any of our first 3 picks (well at least not much of one) and Curbelo will almost certainly be an above slot guy. I'd anticipate one above slot high school guy in the first 4 or 5 rounds today then it will be almost all college players until they take a few flyers on high school players late. I could be completely wrong but that is about what I would expect and would be consistent with recent Sox drafts.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 11, 2016 -> 12:37 AM) It just baffles me how we've gone from the Jordan era to the Kobe/T-mac/Iverson/etc era where iso ball was all the rage to the current era where iso ball is now the least efficient and most frowned upon type of offense there is. Those Bulls teams actually moved the ball a lot. Post Jordan that did become a huge issue for a while though.
  18. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 11:48 PM) I'm going to take this back a bit after seeing some other angles and side with you more, 99. Yeah, that was an insane flop. They really need to give refs the ability to go to replay and give a technical foul for flops. I'd love to see that bulls*** legislated out of the game. He also appears to have thrown a punch at Lebron's groin after Lebron stepped over but I'm sure the NBA will let that go without repercussion to since they've allowed Green to intentionally kick and trip people and generally just play incredibly dirty basketball throughout the postseason without being punished.
  19. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:42 PM) Cavs are just not good enough. They have the same issues as the Thunder had with lack of depth and a tendency to become to isolation driven but they don't have the overall length and athleticism that the Thunder had on D.
  20. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 10, 2016 -> 10:38 PM) Might of flopped, but I thought LeBron threw him down a little bit, then tried to step over him. What is Kyrie doing..... Lebron definitely tried to step over him. Didn't throw him down in the slightest, that was as blatant of a flop as you'll see. He also kicked out his leg before Lebron stepped over him to try to trip him.
  21. Draymon Green continues to be a dirty flopping b****. When you make flop more than Lebron you're a complete b****.
  22. Cavs' offense has gone completely stagnant in the 4th quarter. It has basically just been Lebron and Irving pounding the ball into the floor.
  23. Sale's command just hasn't been good enough the last few games. Way too many pitches finding the heart of the plate.
