  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 11:36 PM) Holy s***. That may have just won Bama the natty. Karma for that bulls*** special teams call vs UNC Yep. So I think Dabo may have been complaining that his guy has to have a chance to call the ball if he called for a fair catch. While that's true you have to be somewhere in the zip code of the ball for that to be the case.
  2. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 11:34 PM) That's one of the best onside kicks I've ever seen Especially when you factor in game situation.
  3. Clemson DB got away with a clear hold there. They haven't been called for anything all night.
  4. Fantastic throw by Coker there. That was a big time play.
  5. Bad bounce for Clemson on that punt and a break for Bama. Huge difference between starting this drive at the 3 vs. the 20.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 11:19 PM) Horrible route by Ridley too. It wasn't as sharp as it should have been but he was incredibly open and Coker threw it out of bounds. That is a throw where Coker didn't even need to lead him towards the sideline.
  7. Coker legitimately hasn't made a play the entire game. Every completion he has had as either been at the line of scrimmage or to a receiver with no one anywhere near him.
  8. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 11:16 PM) Let's see what Coker has. Nothing. Missed a wide open receiver.
  9. So can Coker make any plays when Clemson doesn't blow a coverage because Clemson is now packing the box and daring him to beat them. Also, how has Bama not adjusted to these low short punts by the Clemson punter. Jones has been playing way too far back all game.
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 10:48 PM) Starting to call holds. Going to see a lot of QB pressure. It will be interesting now. If I'm Bama they have to be drilling it in Coker's head to step up and slide out of the pocket, those DEs have been coming after him and losing contain all game long and he's actually a good athlete. As an aside, man does Batman v. Superman look terrible.
  11. It would have been a hold anyways but Coker showed zero pocket presence again there.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 10:00 PM) Kiffin is getting too cute. Much has been made of the spread concepts he stole from Baylor and OSU to beat MSU etc. well it's not as effective against teams that see it in practice every day. Run the football I thought he did that last year against OSU in the first half when Henry was rolling as well.
  13. While Davis keeps harping on Bama's pass pro struggling I haven't really seen that. At least two of those sacks were 100% on Coker.
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 09:53 PM) Last two plays were awful calls. Let your best player play. Bama needs to do the same. Clemson hasn't shown the ability to stop Henry and Coker has been horrendous.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 09:48 PM) Bama doesn't ever need to throw it but they continue to let Coker try And he's been awful. He had a ridiculous amount of running room on second down. If he pulls that down its a first down easily.
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 09:39 PM) Real entertaining. I'm wondering when the zebras will get involved. Lots of holding going on. Two great teams. Bama more talented overall but Watson is the great equalizer. I think they are just going to let a lot of that go at this point. Both teams being allowed to do it so it will be interesting to see if that changes. A lot of contact being allowed in the secondary for both teams as well and Alexander got away with at least one blatant hold so far.
  17. Huge momentum swing there. Fingers crossed but looks like we might actually have a competitive game tonight.
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 09:20 PM) Watson is far and away the best QB Bama has faced this year. He is also by far and away the best QB (for college ball) in the country so that isn't shocking. Coker has been really shaky for Bama so far. He's made some terrible reads already. Keeping the ball on the one read option that cost them 6 when they were driving and he missed Henry wide open underneath on that last sack.
  19. QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Jan 11, 2016 -> 12:02 PM) Not true http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/...-injuring-sack/ https://vine.co/v/iMuO9BaxgQT Wow, well the initial hit and sack itself was clean. Burfict is a piece of s*** though and while I sometimes would give a player the benefit of the doubt on something like that in Burfict's case that was almost assuredly on purpose.
