  1. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 5, 2015 -> 09:11 AM) I think the layoff hurt the Cavs a bit. Is it just me or does LeBron seem a bit sluggish on the court these days? Obviously he is bigger and stronger than most, but I think his athleticism has fallen off a bit. MJ was able to weather that storm for quite a while. Maybe it was just Butler's defense. There are a ton of miles on those legs and while he is still the best player in the world, he already isn't the same player as peak LeBron and the gap between him and the rest of the NBA isn't near as large as it was just a couple of years ago. He really should work inside more often. There just aren't a lot of players that can stop him when he makes a concerted effort to post up strong and back a guy to the rim.
  2. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 3, 2015 -> 09:35 PM) Conley hurt. Paul hurt. Love hurt. You never know what Rose you're gonna get. I had three teams that could take down GS: Thunder, Spurs and Cavs. We know what happened to the Thunder. Spurs are out. Cavs won't have Love. Something crazy would have to happen for GS not to win this thing. Tony Parker was also clearly not healthy in the Spurs/Clips series which is the main reason the Spurs aren't still playing. Just a ton of key injuries around the league this year impacting the playoffs.
  3. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Apr 29, 2015 -> 10:02 AM) I still can't believe this streak Illinois is on, just amazing. 21 straight after sweeping OSU this weekend. Wow
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ May 3, 2015 -> 02:21 PM) Noesi deserves more of a chance than Danks. Noesi hasn't exactly been helped by Rodon. It is unclear what Danks has to do to lose his rotation spot at this point. He is f***ing awful and has been for a long time.
  5. Yeah, this just confirms that boxing isn't for me. I've found this entire fight incredibly boring.
  6. Jaime Foxx with an atrocious rendition of the national anthem to get things started.
  7. Well Paul with a fantastic shot to win it but Spurs should have had the ball for the last shot in a tie game if Hue Hollins didn't make a brutal call. Tough way to lose.
  8. That's an absolutely horrendous call.
  9. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 1, 2015 -> 01:08 PM) Judging solely on how they looked on the field in college, I would easily rate Green - Beckham number 1 WR in the draft. I would have waited on drafting a wr to grab him if he checks out, and would still grab him later on in the draft after using a number 1 on a wr. No way can you possibly trust him to stay on the field and I don't see how you could easily rate Beckham #1 out of the WRs in this draft even based on his play on the field. He isn't particularly fluid running routes and his SPARQ rating his the lowest of the top WRs. He was also far less productive than guys like Parker and Cooper.
  10. Tim Duncan is amazing. He probably still has 2 or 3 really good years left in him if he wants to keep playing.
  11. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 8, 2015 -> 01:11 PM) He really is an awful human being, but Las Vegas makes so much money off him, nobody cares. Even the NFL would suspend him. He is a complete piece of s***. I would be shocked if it happens but I hope Pacquiao absolutely destroys him and knocks him out Saturday.
  12. I'm glad we got 42 minutes of s***ty defense, missed shots, terrible decisions and turnovers from Rose tonight.
  13. Derrick Rose kind of blows right now.
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 26, 2015 -> 09:47 PM) I love how Love complained about Olynik after the game even though Kevin was the one who hooked the arm. Yeah, that isn't what happened at all. Complete bulls*** play by Olynyk.
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 12:07 PM) http://chicagoist.com/2015/04/17/leaked_ba..._dawn_of_ju.php Batman vs Superman trailer leaked Hopefully it's as awesome as it looks. Still not interested at all and I'm not sure there is really much that can change that. Zack Snyder sucks balls. Watchmen sucked, Sucker Punch sucked, Man of Steel sucked. I won't watch this unless people absolutely rave about it.
  16. How the hell is Kevin Gregg one of the Reds setup guys. He is f***ing terrible.
  17. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 14, 2015 -> 10:04 AM) Sounds like Austin Colbert is done at Illinois. Sad. He definitely flashed some potential and his floor was fine as a very high energy player. So much better than Morgan. Now Illinois really needs another big. Would much rather have had Morgan transfer (and frankly wouldn't mind if and Tate both still transfer) and agree that Colbert has potential but I do wonder how hard he was working based upon the fact that he hasn't improved his body at all in 2 years at Illinois.
  18. Nigel Johnson also transferring from KSU. They don't return a single player who had an offensive rating of 100 or higher this year. Yikes.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 8, 2015 -> 08:16 AM) Nothing like predicting tournament seeds before all recruits have been signed. Might as well flip a coin And before we know who exactly is going pro.
  20. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 7, 2015 -> 09:26 AM) The problem is for the National Championship game, the refs should be the best. If that is the best they have, officiating is a huge problem that needs to be addressed. Officiating is a problem that needs to be addressed in college basketball. It is consistently horrendous.
  21. Bo Ryan douching it up in his press conference.
  22. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 6, 2015 -> 10:28 PM) The reality is Wisconsin may never have that good of a chance again. They werent a fluke, they could be the best team in basketball on any night. Unfortunately tonight they had to play good, they played okay. That just wasnt enough. Yeah, as long as Bo is still coaching you will be solid but this was pretty much the perfect storm with Kaminsky developing more than anyone could have ever dreamed. I'm sure there is someone on the bench who will surprise next year but it felt like this team had less depth than most Wisconsin teams and unlike most guys who don't get a lot of run early on but are still productive when they do (like Kaminsky), I don't see that guy this year. Vitto Brown has looked horrible whenever I've seen him play and there doesn't really appear to be a wing scorer ready to step up. They will need to get more production out of freshmen than usual but as long as Hayes doesn't go pro they will still be good with him and Koening (plus Bo).
  23. Grayson Allen is going to be the next super hated white Duke player. Kid is going to be a complete stud though.
  24. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 4, 2015 -> 10:22 PM) I am rooting for Big Ten over Duke..............If that would be 2 National Titles in 2 months for the Big Ten. Yeah, f*** that. I don't give a f*** about conference pride. Congrats to the Badgers but I hate the other Big 10 teams year round, why would I root for them in the tourney?
  25. And this has been a great game but this has been some of the worst officiating I can remember. College officiating is an embarrassment.
