I wasn't aware of the extent of the media blitz until I saw Kramer on CNN surrounded by Jesse Jackson, Paul Mooney (the most racist comic I have ever witnessed) and a few other black "leaders" talking about his shame and the "personal work" he would be undertaking to find what inside of his soul made him say such things. It was one of the most embarrassing spectacles I have witnessed in the recent past. This is no longer about anything that he said onstage. This is about the uncut cowardice of people unable or unwilling to simply say " f*** you. I was pissed off and I said some s***. Go f*** yourself if you don't like it." Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons. Same s***. He flipped off the fans who were giving him s*** - at the Falcons own stadium no less - and then he's giving a heart-felt (if the publicist who wrote it actually has a heart) apology for his sins on ESPN. Today, people in positions of power are trying to f*** you over. They use terms like "African-American", "spreading democracy", "fighting for freedom", etc. They call themselves leaders. They tell you that it's in "your own best interest" or "for both of our safety". I'm tired of being logical. I have a shelf full of great books and documentaries I just bought from Amazon... I'm just gonna go with the last few Soxtalk topics I've been in for ideas: -a taser -a lawsuit against a major university -tickets to a comedy show with Michael Richards -a lawsuit against Michael Richards -3 rounds with Jamie Foxx (trick is you gotta get her to say "n*****" a bunch of times first though) -a guitar -deep fried turkey -a trip to Dealey Plaza or a JFK assassination documentary Or maybe you could just go for a DVD of a flick she likes or a CD that she likes. And as long as it isn't too cheesy or you go overboard in it, a mix CD is always an option depending on the songs that you choose. And women always love flowers.

Something not cliche and not over the top.

I just started getting into this Japanese promotion HUSTLE. It's way different than puruesu and good to see a promotion that can poke fun at itself and not take itself very seriously. Guitar gurus here at Soxtalk, I am currently looking to pick up a decent/moderately priced acoustic that would be easy for a beginner to fool around with since I have no experience in playing guitar but want to learn. When it comes to picking out a guitar, I'm more confused than a hungry baby in a topless bar. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
