I think soxtalk is one of the better run sports boards I have been on. Some are too relaxed and let just about anything go which is awful and some are over moderated so nobody wants to join the convo which is also awful. I like the balance here and appreciate how its done.

I agree. the only way he makes it to AAA is if he blows up both A+ and AA. And he would have to be at AA for a long stretch. I think its likely he blows up A+ but we will see how fast he moves from there.

Ive been wondering this for a while. Sounds like he is a good athlete with a good arm. I wonder what is putting him at 1B

What do you think happens when they move Robert to AA? After a great afl I cant imagine them wanting him to stay in A+ for a long time. Do you see this or do you think he stays A+ for a significant amount of time?

I am not sure about the other schools but I was able to watch quite a few Stanford games on their website last year. Maybe osu offers this as well. And I wanna say I am happy there is finally some activity on this board. I like this board more than the main board.

I think it was more he wanted to say can be a SS therefor make SS money going into his contract year. I do think he would prefer to play SS but if he was paid more to play 3b he would play there.

I think Harper will wait until MM signs because of this... which also makes me think if LAD don't offer as much it will be between us and the phils, giving us a nice shot at Harper

I think the Phils idea of stupid money isn't the same as other teams stupid money...

I guess the way I see it, the phils are focused on MM and it appears we have the in on him right now, and I just don't see Harper taking a big pay cut to play for LAD.

Haha these threads have done that 100 times over. Later this morning there will be a tweet indicating we might get it done and the excitement will blow up and we will be ready to throw a parade, then we will get something mentioning the big boys again and we will be ready to move the franchise to Portland.
