I was really hoping for some rumors this weekend and today regarding Wheeler.. Me is sad.

I now don't see the fit of Castellanos since we commited to Abreu 3 years... We simply can't have him as the every day RF for 3 years with his defense... Unless they truly think he can become passable and average. With all that said.... I'd still be okay risking it.

This contract is absolutely unnessessary and dumb.. 95% of us agree with that. But this has other effects. This almost certainly takes us out of Castellanos right? No way we could expect him to play RF for 4 years. He would've always moved to DH.

Just to play devils advocate... If he is 8% BELOW league average... How on earth is he top 15 in AL? To FuturesNears point, being healthy doesn't justify being good. NOTE: I like him as a #5 starter due to potential and seeing what he can do to begin the year..
