  1. No one would trade Senzel for Moncada.. Senzel is the far better prospect now. But I do like fun ideas/proposals
  2. Everyone is assuming Machado will sign for 10 years, around 350 (that's what the vast majority use).. That's an average yearly value of 35 mil.. What if we differentiated ourselves by going 12 years at 400 million. Drops the AAV to 33 mil and his final year will be at age 38 (yes risky) instead of 36. Is that two years really worth not getting him if this is enough? This will differentiate ourselves assuming everyone sticks on the 10 year plan. Offer opt outs after 4 years and 8 years. No he probably wouldn't be worth 33 mil in his age 35+ seasons but I believe his early years will makeup for that. Thoughts from everyone but Greg and Jack? lol
  3. We'd only get the pick IF he signed for greater than 50 million. . Which he won't anymore. Which throws a qualifying offer out the window. Just let him finish this year and then see if you can sign him cheaply (10mil per year or so) assuming he still produces some next year.
  4. re-fucking-tweet
  5. It will take a back-end top 100 guy for Gray. And because of that, I will pass.
  6. This all makes me want Vaughn now (If Adley isn't available). A college hitter with good D seems like someone who would rise fast to the MLB too
  7. I would really love for you to tell me where he lied.. Otherwise I'll assume you actually don't know. pleeeeeeeeeeeease
  8. Please tell me his lying under oath? That he drank a lot of beer?
  9. And if they find something on Kavanaugh, fuck him and he should go to prison. But at this point, there is legit nothing whatsoever.
  10. Everyone (who listened) knew the FBI investigation would provide nothing.. yet they wanted it so that they could act all angry and get in an uproar when the report indicates nothing was found.. Everyone knew nothing would come of it and now you're in an uproar BECAUSE nothing came of it (knowing it wouldn't). It's fun to watch lol
  11. What evidence is there with Ramirez and Kavanaugh?
  12. You're right. Flake is a coward. He should have voted yes and avoided the FBI investigation since WE ALL knew nothing would come of it.
  13. You're kidding right?? The entire time the democratics hounded Kavanaugh to have an FBI investigation KNOWING it does absolutely nothing and will provide nothing new... Of course it was a stall tactic. And it worked (slightly). Just didn't stall it long enough, for now
  14. I don't get why so many people are upset with the process. Clearly the FBI thing was just a stall tactic to try and hold Kavanaugh out as long as they can and hope it pushed past the Nov. voting (I don't blame them). But people.... There is exactly zero evidence. That's one thing great about america is you're innocent until proven guilty. I mean geez, even her childhood best friend could vouch that she knew of a party like that or ever met Kavanaugh. The whole thing was fishy. IDK how you can't at least acknowledge that.
  15. barf why would Renturdria be on solid ground
  16. I am asking specifically for service time.
  17. So I think I speak for everyone when I said today fucking blows.. HOWEVER it's time to move on and hope for a speady recovery. This post is not for people bashing the front office discussion to bring him up, bashing Kopech for not saying anything or bashing each other. I read through 5 pages of the Kopech injury thread and got pissed because a few of you took over the thread with your incessant babbling and b****ing and moaning. This thread is specifically to discuss his service time. So with this injury he will miss all of 2019. We lost a year for bringing him up this year. Did we lose another with his injury or can we gain it back by sending him to the minors in 2020? How long? Someone fill us in because the babbling panzies ruined that last thread. Thanks!
  18. Renteria HAS TO STOP MOVING HIM (and everyone else) AROUND IN THE LINEUP LIKE THEY'RE IN THE FUCKI** PEACE CORP. I cannot stand him. I'm not sure how much it matters for these proffessionals but it certainly doesn't help with the psyche.. Rant done. Please don't block me, im frustrated with RenTURDria.
  19. Hi all, I am wondering if a moderator or administrator could create a folder or something in here that contains JUST Podcasts about the Sox? I think it would be a good idea. People could drop in podcasts that they see regarding the Sox. I get bored at work...
  20. iS THIS A JOKE....
  21. If it takes him 2,000 at bats to figure it out he won't have a full time gig. In the MLB today you just don't get that many opportunities.
  22. Insanely interesting affiliate... Why was he not sent back to AAA. I feel like it's rare to see "demotions"
  23. i wonder how many MVPs he is going to win..
