you don't fix baseball (yes it's broken) until you can solve the amount of time it takes to play a game. Too many visits to the mound, too many conversations, pitchers throwing over 50 times an at bat, the time inbetween innings, it all needs to be re-done. They need to get rid of the warm up between innings, they really do, that alone will save 5+ minutes per inning. Give the SP 3 pitches and then we go. No other balls on the field.

Yeah, I get that. But that doesn't make him the better player. It just means he has more potential (which I agree with). Whether he EVER hits that is unknown.

The better player has always been Machado (apart from one year). Harper just gives you more marketability (which is also valuable)

LOL WHAT? Fulmer would be LUCKY to be top 30 now. Bummer certainly wouldnt be top 30. The most valuable piece they are getting is Rivera who would be in our 20-30 range..
