Keith Law's ESPN Top 100
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jan 22, 2018 -> 11:18 AM) So we’ll probably have the big 4 in this list. We had five in BA’s list. Callis hinted at six in his list. Honestly, it’s a bit concerning that we’re in year 2 of our rebuild and that’s all we got. And I’m fully aware we had three top 50 prospects graduate last year, but sucks to see Cease & Rutherford completely fall off these lists. Not sure why Cease completely fell off all lists, but i completely understand the Rutherford falling off

BA Top 100 Prospects
QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 22, 2018 -> 10:49 AM) When I heard the prospect people talk about collins, the good news is he's the only catcher aside from Mejia scouts really see with a nice offensive profile. The bad news is almost none of them really picture him at catcher, so all of the others with meh profiles but proper defense are ahead of him. So he just has to be a catcher. agreed. Which is another reason why I don't get the hype. His defensive questions. I hope he kicks butt this year

Brewers nearing trade
Well this is weird.. I have a dynasty team and had Corey Ray on it (late pick) and he obviously played in the brewers organization.. Today I went to my team (out of habit) and saw that he was listed as a player in the KC organization..... ummm Ray + to KC for Duffy (assuming)? Could that be the rumor Crasnick was mentioning? did my fantasy team confirm something of happening that hasn't been reported anywhere?!?!

BA Top 100 Prospects
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 22, 2018 -> 10:39 AM) I didn't expect Collins to be top 100 but you defaulting to strikeouts after someone gave you evidence of the kind of hitter he is says everything needed. You don't need to be taken seriously in this regard. lol

BA Top 100 Prospects
QUOTE (Dunt @ Jan 22, 2018 -> 09:39 AM) ISOs above .200 at every level, wOBA above .367 at every level, wRC+ above 130 at every level, BB% above 17.8% at every level. Dude rakes. Yeah, he rakes in a ton of K's in A ball.. He didn't do anything close to deserving of top 100

BA Top 100 Prospects
I still don't understand why people think/thought Collins is even close to being a top 100 prospect LET ALONE inside the top 100

BA Top 100 Prospects
That Eaton trade just keeps getting better and better haha. This list is right about where I thought people would be.. However, I still think Kopech is low.. Yes I said low.. I still think he should be closer to top 5. #CyYoungin3Years

Brewers Acquire Christian Yelich & sign Lorenzo Cain
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 19, 2018 -> 06:39 PM) Adam Jones, Charlie Blackmon, and AJ Pollock are all Free Agents next offseason. If CF remains a need, we have the money. Blackmon and Pollack I could get behind.. Not so much for Jones.

National Anthem
QUOTE (Hamhock @ Jan 20, 2018 -> 09:51 AM) https://www.mlb.com/whitesox/ballpark/infor...guide#n-content thanks, I wonder if they've already done them for this season or if they haven't started yet. darn!

National Anthem
Hey all, does anyone know how one (me) would go about trying to audition to sing the National Anthem for the Sox? I've done it elsewhere and it's always been a dream of mine. Any insight would be outstanding.

MLB Pipeline Top Prospects
QUOTE (GenericUserName @ Jan 19, 2018 -> 04:04 PM) Between the scouts saying he'll be good if he adds loft to his swing, and the reports out of the hitters camp that he is hitting it in the air more, I'm pretty excited to see what he can do this year. Me too.. I was and still am super excited about our first three picks last year. (Burger, Sheets, Gonzalez)

MLB Pipeline Top Prospects
TOP 10 1B prospects released. No Sox (no surprise) HOWEVER, they names Gavin Sheets the 1B prospect to watch.. So that's pretty cool
-
Baseball America Top 10 Prospects
top 10 First Basement will be released today. Wouldn't expect any of ours on this list. Gavin Sheets is probably our best 1b prospect followed by Gillespie (Who ranked 5th on this list last year). Suprising how thin this list for 1B is with talent

Baseball America Top 10 Prospects
QUOTE (Dizzy Sox @ Jan 18, 2018 -> 07:57 PM) I sure hope I'm wrong but Rutherford just screams to me of being an overhyped Yankee prospect who loses his shine once he's out of pinstripes. I know he was well regarded coming out of the draft but...just not feeling this one. Yeah, he has lost A LOT of shine

Baseball America Top 10 Prospects
QUOTE (KrankinSox @ Jan 18, 2018 -> 02:38 PM) Rutherford had a quote in the Athletic saying he grew another inch to inch and a half this offseason. It's easy to forget how young he is and still coming into his body. Obviously would like to see an improvement at the plate in 2018 but I don't think he should lose all of his stock as a prospect. I agree but top 100 is a big deal. Hard to make it following a very down year

Baseball America Top 10 Prospects
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jan 18, 2018 -> 01:19 PM) Rutherford’s still in the 60’s at pipeline, isn’t he? I just can't believe anyone still has him in the top 100 in all of baseball.. surprises me

Baseball America Top 10 Prospects
QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Jan 18, 2018 -> 10:37 AM) MLB.com has already released info that reflected 6 Sox in top 100. So 2 of Cease, Dunning, or Rutherford are in the top 100 after Eloy, Kopech, Hansen and Robert. Oh, i didnt know that.. I'd go Cease and Dunning!!!

MLB Pipeline Top Prospects
He needs to hope this fixes.. Otherwise he is a non-prospect. I still have faith. But he still has a ways to go

Next 5 prospects to break in to top 30
QUOTE (steveno89 @ Jan 18, 2018 -> 08:07 AM) Kade McClure is a guy I'm keeping tabs on. Hiuge frame at 6'7", 230 lbs. Very small sample size, but dominated in 11 innings last year after being drafted, only allowing 3 hits, 3 walks, while striking out 19 SP or RP?
-
MLB Pipeline Top Prospects
Not too surprising. He has a lot to prove
-
Adam Engel
QUOTE (SCCWS @ Jan 17, 2018 -> 02:57 PM) Not sure that is true for Moncada. Last year was his pressure free time. He was moved back to his probable future position at 2nd after a really rocky cup of coffee in Boston. Next year's win/loss numbers won't matter but if Moncada really struggles offensively, I think there will be pressure on him later in the year. If he gets 400 AB and his HR/RBI numbers and average are still an issue, I think the fan base will start getting antsy. He will probably be putting pressure on himself as well. I agree the pitchers get a free ride. You hit it right on the head.. We, as fans, need Moncada to produce. Especially general fans

Luis Robert
The fact that scouts say he will stick in Center field is the only thing I care about.. That is HUGE if he can
