  1. Have you heard something? Seems like a strange comment unless you got some info. Focusing on Cowser and Ortiz?
  2. I think everyone here would take Cowser/Kjerstad and Ortiz/Norby. There will definitely be a 3rd and 4th lesser piece. Personally, I believe that 3rd piece will be within the Orioles 10-20 top prospects. The 4th will be outside the top 30. My current ask would definitely be Cowser, Ortiz and Beavers. They can keep the 4th piece.
  3. @Y2Jimmy0 is one of our bests. He gets info from someone
  4. Us Sox fans have one of these can’t miss “elite -6 war type guys”... Yoan Moncada
  5. Where have we been told they prefferred norby to ortiz?
  6. I'd love to be in on a Manoah deal.
  7. This is what the Sox have always done. Spend 15 million spread out over 5 guys instead of one guy at 15 million.
  8. I'd love Chapman. but we won't be spending more than a few million, so i'll go with a guy we will cut by July.
  9. Yeah, sure. You've laid out the risk of holding him. The potential benefit of holding him is also exorbitant. Assuming best case return to 2022 form, like you assumed the worst case. With no injury, and no return to 2022 form, Cease would still command Petty + Arroyo type return in July.
  10. It is completely dependent on the offer on the table so far. If the offer is Cowser and Ortiz +, you take it... If the offer is Petty and Arroyo, you take the risk and wait until the deadline because that offer isn't a slam dunk.
  11. Yes, an arroyo and petty ++ is an easy no for me. I’ll take the risk and hold until the deadline. You can beat that
  12. Yeah I don’t see much wrong with that ask
  13. Reds say no easy. I'd take the first 3 alone and run
  14. because it fits his weak narrative.
  15. hmmm sounds like a dodgers package, Orioles package or Reds package going strictly off age of their top prospects that we'd be acquiring.
  16. they Should. They’ve always made just as much sense as anyone. More so after going all in with Soto
