November 14, 2025Nov 14 IHSA playoffs should be aired statewide on cable. All the way through, not the last couple games. I shouldn’t have to subscribe to something I won’t touch for another year to watch it. also, maxpreps shouldn’t be the only place I can get game and team info

They should put a tape on of Fremd around 2017 BR #1 in state and lost round 1 or Barrington 2016 (up 21 starting 4th and lost). There is a lot of history to Brother Rice not living up to expectations and doing themselves in. Its kind of a southside tradition hand in hand with the White Sox. I think their current guy is different. We shall see. SCN is no joke had has as good a football history as BR.

The NFHS broadcasts are worse in most cases than the student run.

The first two rounds are free in Indiana and anyone can also broadcast just by asking. Heck we are calling our Regional Championship tonight. The exclusivity stuff kicks in next week with Semi-State (final four for each class) and then with State.

You can then cancel it immediately so you are only charged for a month. When I went to cancel mine, it offered me a second month for only $1 dollar. So it isn’t a bad deal ($15 bucks) for the entire playoffs. The lamest thing ever is that you can only stream from a single device at a time, so I am not able to play two different games at the same time.

But this BR team is playing hard from start to finish and not taking anything for granted. They have blown out their first two playoff opponents and have yet to allow a point.
