Salad in on the fun

Man, I really would trade Sale before Q.

Man, I really would trade Sale before Q.

I always liked Q better than Sale. I really hope he gets the Cy Young. He's been so much better and so much more consistent than Sale.

It's going to suck when Quintana ends up as the most deserving for Cy Young but the voters hold his W-L record against him. Hopefully he can at least get to 15 wins, that might do it if he finishes strong.

Neither one will win it probably, but as of now, putting Sale higher on the ballot than Quintana is a mistake.

Pretty sad they have two pitchers of this quality, and they're a bottom 5 team in the AL.

Remember that game in KC?...says everyone at the game.

Jacob Turner comes in the 9th and promptly loads the bases and then gives up a long sac fly

God Turner has no control. Zero.

Pretty amazing how black and white this team has been in 2016.

This isn't 2007-bad, but this pen is something.

Good for Q. Bad for Ms.

I remember a few years ago on this very board I suggested Q may end up being more valuable than Sale. I took a lot of heat for it. I backtracked a bit saying I mostly meant with all the talk of Sale being a high risk arm. But Q is the man. Back then there was always talk that Q wasn't legit , he couldn't keep doing it. Smoke and mirrors you heard a lot in reference to Q but he has just kept getting better and better.

And he does it while minding his own business. Those are my favorite guys to watch. They respect the game, do what they do, and that's it. They let their talent do the talking. I loved the standing O by the fans today when Q was taken off, and his hat tip. I remember him saying in an interview this year regarding the trade speculation around him at the deadline, he made it very clear that he likes it here and he wants to win a championship in Chicago. He is by far my favorite player wearing a White Sox uniform and I hope he stays for his entire career here, and he's only 27. He has at least 10 more years left in him, barring (God forbid) injuries. Jose Quintana is the real ace of this staff.

I don't really ever remember Avi being selective....

With the win tonight, Avi and Saladino push their OPS over .700, Abreu is back up to almost .800 at .796.

I believe he's had flashes of being selective but it doesn't last.
