World Series: Indians vs. Cubs

I agree that there is nothing wrong with sending Miller out for 2 after just 7 pitches. I just wonder why they need him for 2 innings. Why not have another reliever pitch the 7th and Miller the 8th? Oh well, it should work out either way, anyway.

Gotta believe you let Otero pitch the 9th with Allen there to back him up if he lets 2 runners on base.

Allen should not pitch tonight let Otero finish.

Assuming you pitch Bauer tomorrow, and Lester pitches well, there is a good chance you don't need Miller again until Tuesday evening.

Francona apparently wants to stay with that Miller, Shaw, Allen ordering...

3 more outs.

Lovable losers SOS

Yep, Salazar and Merritt are up first to reliever Bauer...depending on what part of the lineup is due.

That also gives Francona additional insight into who he can trust if Tomlin gets in trouble during potential Game 6.

I want it to end Sunday at Wrigley that would be sweet.

With shots of Cubs fans looking depressed and their face in their hands? Yes please.

Otero warming up.

No matter what, winning 2/2 at Wrigley was one more than ANYONE predicted...counting the Lester game as an automatic victory, not sure how prudent that is.

Nice catch by Lindor

Lindor is so good on defense.

Would love a Baez K to end this.

God it kills me that we could have had Francona as manager instead of Robin.

Very nice

1 win away

If the Indians have a lead in the 7th inning tomorrow, its one inning. Go win the world series.

Win it Cleveland... win it.

The blueprint of peppering the Cubs with tons of offspeed pitches will be emulated throughout MLB as a counterstrategy.

Lol...I literally said the same thing to a buddy 30 minutes ago. But hey, the White Sox are gonna White Sox.

I'm sure Tito would have gotten a playoff appearance out of this team at least once or twice in the past 5 years.

Not sure he was ready after 2011.

That one season with ESPN seemed to really revitalize him and rekindle his love of managing.

Look at these bandwagon fans in the streets cheering and smiling. I'd be sick to my stomach.
