Steve Sarkisian is leaving Alabama to become the OC of the Atlanta Falcons. God I hope Chip Kelly is the next OC at Alabama.

Not sure the Alabama roster is made for his brand of football.

Do you think that would work or were you joking.

Bama has been running the spread for 2 years now. Their starting QB is a runner before a passer. They are actually a great fit.

Are you a Bama fan? He would most likely kill it there.

I'm not a "fan" of a college team. It would be fun though.

I am talking the speed and style of that offense. Saben called out that style of football two years ago and thought it was a bad for football.

I am not certain he will now buy into it but maybe.

That offensive line is not built to run 85-90 plays a game.

Maybe he will go that way but I don't see why he would.

They've been running that type of offense for a couple of seasons, Bama, Clemson and OSU run pretty much the same style offense. Chip may have run the hurry up a bit more, but thats about it.

Now the new OC will obviously have a lot to do with it. Kiffin literally took Chad Morris's and Tom Herman's playbook back to T-town.

Haha, those analyst positions (what Sark was) are complete bulls***. No contact with players and just there to evaluate opponents my ass.

Don't pay the players though!

Andrew Siciliano‏Verified account @AndrewSiciliano 2h2 hours ago Nick Saban's $11.25 million salary makes him, by far, the highest paid government employee in America. Federal, state, or local.

Worth every penny to the University

And yes, how dare the players ask for any compensation too?

Almost crazier than that is that their LBs coach is going to make $950k next year.

ESPN Stats & InfoVerified account @ESPNStatsInfo Bob Stoops will tell his Oklahoma team he’s retiring, per Oklahoman newspaper. Stoops has the most wins in Oklahoma history (190).

Bob Stoops told me he expects Lincoln Riley (@LincolnRiley) to be his successor. Said retirement is not about his health.

Wow. Wonder if that is any blowback from the Joe Mixon stuff.

Gotta be something more than that

He just bought another home in Chicago too.

I bet those recruits that just showed up on campus as freshman are super happy

That was 2014 and Mixon is gone. I doubt that Mixon is the reason.

Hid Dad was a high school coach, felt chest pains during a rivalry game, hung out on the sideline and died a few minutes after the game at age 54. Maybe he's just done with coaching.

If he honestly quit so that he could watch his kid play high school football and to not die on the sideline, good for him.
