The two best prospects hawk has ever seen are Strawberry and Eric Davis?

How much time do you think Hawk spends talking about the game in front of him? Maybe 10% of the time?

Certainly less than any other play-by play guy. The game passed him by 10 years ago.

I think *at best* he could be seen as a depth piece for a possible contender. But I don't see any team holding off on trading for Q because they can get Derek Holland (obviously for significantly less, but still) instead.

Half a good season of Scott Feldman got the Cubs that failed prospect Jake Arrieta. You never know.

Way to go Holland

Is there nobody warming up?

Perfect spot

Holland looks really good.

Nice job by Swarzak he looked good that inning. Idk guys if I had to choose I think I would rather see great pitching over hitting...I would hate to see the other team score a million runs against us.

Omar really needs to work on framing the off-speed pitches. Seems like he is stabbing at it or letting the momentum of the his glove to go down with the ball

Swarzak looks like a serial killer

WTF kind of swing was that? Swing the f***ing bat like you mean it. Jesus, that would be a benching for most coaches I played for.

What kind of swing was that

Not sure who looks more overmatched by fastballs, Anderson or Abreu

At least Jose saw more than 1 pitch that inning and swung the bat like it was a game and not fooling around in the back yard.

I've rarely seen a MLB player half ass a swing like TA did there. He is in his head big time. Might need a benching tmr.

The White Sox as a team have probably 5 or 6 good swings tonight....let's hope the kids get called up sooner rather than later because it's going to be hard to watch the dreck for long. Not that I'm expecting much, but a major league AB shouldn't be too much to ask for.

He had like a 15 pitch at bat earlier today..

Another bad frame

Ha Jose strikes again on defense.

You simply can't keep hurting the pitchers by letting Abreu play in the field

FFS Jose.

no kidding. Somehow he's worse now then he was his rookie year. That wasn't even a hard play. He just made it look hard.

Weird how Nate isn't getting any swinging strikes right now. He looks awful.

Jones trying to kill his trade value. They're having him throw way too many fastballs
