I can't think of a logical argument against this. It would certainly make the draft more exciting.

I think the primary argument against is that it opens the door for reduced parity by allowing some teams to invest heavier than others in the draft.

That's what I'm worried about for Haseley - not Kendall. Trout didn't have a history in college or high school of high strike out rates to harp on and missing out on Beni just plain sucked.

If Haseley doesn't fall I really hope the Sox go after White. Unless something else falls into their lap @ #11, what I have no idea.

Pretty sure I was not happy at the time either but I more ticked about KW passing on Porcello because of Boras, or at least that's what I suspected. Sox found a use for Poreda in southern California so it worked out in the end.
