Ha, then Avi promptly grounds into DP and Abreu strikes out.

Lots of great players GIDP. No worries.

Lopez looking sharp early. Bringing gas just below 100.

That was nasty Lopez.

And, of equal importance, seems.to be hitting most of his spots. So far BJ hitters seem a bit overmatched.

Best inning I've seen from Lopez since his debut inning with the Sox

WOW. Finishes that inning off with a filthy slider. Good googley moogley this kid can bring it. Like most of our kids it's all about the command.

Couple really nice sliders mixed in there, bodes well for him tonight.

I don't think most people worry about Lopez the first 3-4 innings. It's the later ones he struggles or loses his stuff. Hopefully that'll be the big development for him as a starter or not.

Welly has got to use that little stick they give him up there. Feels like he's watching strike 3 half the time.

That slider is mixing in well with that fastball. He’s bringing it so far

Easily best slider he's shown on the WSox

Rey-Lo is filthy

That cutter is disgusting.

I feel like I’ve seen Lopez only throw a fastball and slider

ReyyLoooooo finally gives the fielders something to do!!

Lopez looks great.

Lopez looks great.

As does Garcia. These 2 guys are dealing

I thought that hit him for sure

Good baserunning

Sanchez even had that base stolen even if the throw was on.

Uh....

Now bad baserunning. Woof

DAmn, how did that happen to Yolmer at third base? From the TV it looked like he could have just beat it back to third easily... lmao.

Looking at the replay, it sure looked like if Yolmer dove at third right away, he could have gotten back.
