Sad. Condolences to RR. As someone who had had it happen , losing your mom sucks.

The only way to describe such a loss.

My biggest fear is losing my mother, I am surprised it is only 2 days but I am sure for a lifer like Renteria baseball will be a big part in the healing process.

He will actually miss 3 games since Saturday is a DH. Condolences to Rick and his family.

Yeah, I saw him in the dugout and was taken aback, as I had assumed that he left already. Must've been his hardest game to manage.
