I also just want to repeat, I don't want Engel taking any more of Leury's playing time. Platoon Trayce and Engel until Avi returns.

Dude threatened our team yesterday over some BS, glad our guys won’t stand for it.

wow, nice play Soler, holy fuck, lmao

Santiago about to toss 6 innings of 1 run ball.

No Engel makes me very happy.

Will the Royals hit one of our guys today?  Perez was making some very blatant threats and specifically mentioned Davidson.  Will be interesting to see how these tensions unfold today.

Did something happen yesterday other than the Anderson/Perez incident?

No, but both guys kept talking after the game.  I don’t the issue has really been settled at this point.

They wil hit Moncada to lead off the game or Anderson his first at bat. Probably Anderson. The Royals do whatever they want. After the game Perez dumped the bucked of gatorade on Alex Gordon. But no mention of that. The years they won it they celebrated every base hit like it was the pennant clincher. Now they suck so they complain about Anderson. Plus they really care about their former dominance of the Sox and don't want that to end.

Stone: “Kennedy’s not going to strike out a lot of our guys today.”

*strikes out the side in the 1st*

Don't think I've seen Abreu that pissed over a strikeout in a while.

I don't think I've ever seen him that mad, ever

I can already tell that this is going to be a high-scoring affair.

Drill Perez.

BTW, since you closed the thread, I believe a player has to appear in 43 games before they’re eligible for the MLB pension. Covey is at 19 or 20, I think.

Damn, Matt just missed number 10

Palka busting it, gets to third. Nice.

Anderson seems to be making better contact. If Perez is making threats he should be suspended.

You must've missed this game then..

Kennedy has a history of blatantly hitting batters. On a few occasions up around the head. So I wouldn’t be too surprised, although I’m not expecting it.

He seemed a lot angrier today

That ball was obliterated

Yoan's xWOBA is still 33 points better than his wOBA. So even with this recent "surge" (which is more the law of averages playing out than some newfound skill or hot streak), he should get even better.

quite the batflip on that walk by Abreu.

Yeah I noticed that. He’s not happy today.

Quite the hustle there by Abreu.
