I don't get why we continue to bat Anderson 8th. With Moncada out, just lead him off or bat him second. I want to maximize his PAs this season.

Completely agree -- Anderson needs a higher spot in the line up especially with Moncada out and Avi out.

 

Anyone have an ETA on Moncada's return day?

At least with Giolito there's a good pitcher somewhere in there. Just hit 94, which is also encouraging.

Palka is one of those guys I stop what I'm doing to watch his at bats....not sure why.  Love me some Palka tho....

Palka seems like one of those classic streaky hitters...it would be nice if he or Delmonico could at least be average fielders/average hitters rather than plus hitters/minus defenders.

In the overall scheme of things, though, it probably won't matter.

I don't think there's much harm in running him out there with the current outfield, but I'd rather have a guy like Matt there, even against righties.

I'm not sure that Delmonico will ever look better than his first 6 weeks in the big leagues last year.

Guess we'll find out.   Selling on either guy is an unlikely proposition.  Might as well see what we have.
