PS.  I don't think we can catch the Orioles for 1st pick.  Imagine after they trade Machado's offense away...and Bundy can't even record an out against KC?

 

Giolito has been 91-93, touching 94.  Most consistently at 92-93.

Inconsistency is a much better word to use with a kid who is set to pitch his 100th major league inning tonight.

Hope we can get two solid starters out of Lopez and Dunning and call it a win, but it's not the slam dunk this trade looked on the day it was made...Washington should know their talent better than anyone.

And then he breaks off a really dirty slider. He's walking fewer guys than before but its a crap shoot on every pitch if its going to look good or look like crap

Giolito is having a disaster of a season. Any time Cooper wants to work his magic again,  be my guess

I didn’t think Giolito was going to be a 2011 Verlander, but I did think we were past this type of inconsistency.

No plus pitches and horrible command. Looks like the same guy he was early last year in the minors.

He got hit hard twice in that inning but most of those were seeing eye grounders. Not much you can do about that.
