  • Do what I did and tell your kids that the Cubs don't like legos and Toy Story. That will make them Sox fans quickly

  • Tell them the Cubs will steal their chicken nuggets as well.

That would be a dealbreaker for me. If it’s in Wrigley, he needs to be in Sox swag. Compromise.

Fry managed to get 4 different pitch types into that one at bat. Last year I thought part of his problem was trying to use what was a pretty big repertoire even for a starter. But this year he's kept the 4-5 pitch mix and is dominating.

Gio 32 walks to 24 strikeouts this season. Eek

Yet another walk for Anderson

Bunting is fine here

Timmy has 12 walks this year. Had 13 ALL of last season AND the year before.

Except Engel is one of the hitters coming up again...

There we go!

Timmay is fast

Beautiful there

Go Tim

I'm having too much fun with Statcast, but if you wonder why nobody swings and misses at Lucas's curveball it's because its release is almost a foot higher than his fastball.

Big run.. have to hope the pen can hold this.. seeing they have been anything but good of late

How about a bunt and run?

Awesome work.

Isnt this the Sox broadcast?

More runs needed Nate is warming up :P

Schwarber was never going to throw Anderson out there. The fact that he threw to 3B rather than 2B is fundamentally f***ed.

FYI, the besss just got another hit. 3-3 today (.337 average).

Would that possibly mean he is aiming his fastball?

I don't really care about wins/losses at this point, overall. However, winning this game and avoiding humiliation in this series would be quite nice.

Those glasses Engel has on make me hate him as a person, not just as a ball player. lol

Lefties have destroyed cishek this year

If I had to guess, I think it may mean the opposite. What we can't see in that chart is the distance from home but I suspect the reason the curveballs are higher release point is because he lets go of them sooner (before the arm is finished moving forward).
