Not that Mazara is a bad player, but he was rumored to be the center piece of a potential Quintana-to-Texas deal, and so I think the Sox got the trade right in the end.

Hey man, I'm (of all people) trying to start this night on a positive note.

There goes Moncada's baserunning value on fangraphs, just because we didn't want to challenge

I don't consider Nicky Delmonico batting cleanup to be MLB quality

Looked like Moncada got in before the tag, but it’s not worth the challenge with Delmonico up & 2 outs in the first

Looks like Shields has his good stuff tonight

Lol...I was thinking the same exact thing.

Another fucking double play...

Choo always seems to get RBIs against the Sox

Honestly forgot choo was still in the league

3 leadoff singles

Two men aboard, let’s tie this fucking game!

.260/.355/.488... man would I love for Moncada to finish the season with that line

Ball 6 and Yoan strikes out. Screw this ump

Can’t take that same pitch three times for strikes Yoan.

Pitches 3 and 4 to Moncada were inside...definitely the 3rd one in that sequence didn't get the plate.

The strikeout pitch in the same general location was the only clear strike of the grouping.

Yeah that was like a 5-1 count

Those two were balls, but you got to adjust to the umpire if they’re calling the zone a certain way.

The umps are jealous of Moncada being handsome, rich and young and a great dancer.

Just kidding.  I hope, but you never know with that stuff between Brandon Belt and Doug Eddings.

Let's check where and at what time the home plate umpire has dinner reservations pending...

You know... I'd really like Yolmer... if he wasn't our third best/most exciting hitter :|.

If he was something like our 9th best hitter or a bench player... i'd really be a fan of his.

Hey did we mention that the strike zone sucks tonight? Yeah? Ok good. It sucks. It really sucks.

That pitch they called Yolmer out on is a ball 99% of the time.

Another borderline call, this time on the star once known as Rougned Odor who advanced metrics have been hating the last two years...
