Name a guy who came to the Sox and developed into a good hitter. Maybe Maggs.

He was developed by the White Sox from start to finish.  Carlos Lee, Durham, Crede and Rowand are the best examples from that era, if you don’t count Cameron or Konerko.

Then a huge void with Chris Young probably the best in career fWAR.

I guess you see the Sox as being noting more than just a farm team for the other MLB teams and not a team that should ever aspire to contend?

Wait, do you see Yolmer as vital to the rebuild?

Detroit’s Iglesias is on his last year. Him and Madrigal would be a slick combo.

Um 96!

Giolito just hit 96 for the first time this season...couldn’t have a Lucas outing without a walk.

Lucas with some velo tonight

Couple at 95

And poof, he's lost his command

Sigh. At least the velocity is up?

WTF how can he just loose it?

Flying wide open out of the stretch.

Thrown some meatballs to last two hitters

47 walks, 10 hbp and 11 wild pitches in just 70+ ip.

Btw, Baretto has 4/5 career homers against the White Sox, because, of course.

Mental.  Midget.

He keeps missing his spot with the fastball. He really needs to be down in AAA, it's just not working out for him.

From the stretch!!!  His mechanics changed causing ball to tail.

The first walk, four straight balls, was not from the stretch.

And you just knew one of those runners would score.

A’s beat the shift for the fifth time today.  Lots of evidence that shifting is causing longer games, negligible impact overall.

Also the pitch selection to last batter was just terrible. Every fastball was a meatball to him yet only tried one offspeed pitch up in the count.

Well especially if your pitcher can't throw the ball where they want it to go.

Did I spy some emotion from Lucas?  That's new.

Whatever you want to say, The velocity return is encouraging. Command still an issue.
